Hello Can I get your honest opinion on [name_m]Waylon[/name_m], and the combo [name_m]Waylon[/name_m] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u]?
Thank you!
I think [name_m]Waylon[/name_m] is a pretty badass name. It has the [name_m]Waylon[/name_m] [name_m]Jennings[/name_m] image and comes from the medieval name [name_m]Wayland[/name_m] (a figure in British folk mythology called [name_m]Wayland[/name_m] the [name_m]Smith[/name_m]). [name_m]Wayland[/name_m] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u] has great flow-- perfect syllable count (2-3-1) and a nice mix of the rugged [name_m]Waylon[/name_m] with the classic, refined, timeless [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] and [name_u]James[/name_u].
[name_f]My[/name_f] first reaction was that I don’t really like it, but the more I am saying it to myself the less I dislike it, ha. I think Wyland is slightly better. It’s just not my style, but better than a lot of names out there right now. If you love it, go for it!
I can only ever think of [name_m]Waylon[/name_m] Smithers from the Simpsons, but [name_m]Waylon[/name_m] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u] is so handsome! I can kind of see it working, especially as it has a similar sound to [name_u]Aidan[/name_u] etc. I slightly prefer [name_m]Wayland[/name_m], but it might be a bit wordy.
Very handsome combo!
[name_m]Waylon[/name_m] and [name_u]Willie[/name_u] and the boys?
Can’t get the song out of my head, sorry!
I love most of the other W names out there though.
[name_m]Waylon[/name_m] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u] is handsome!
[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_m]Waylon[/name_m]! The [name_m]Waylon[/name_m] [name_m]Jennings[/name_m] connection is the only one I’m familiar with, and it only improves the name imo. The only thing that keeps it from being on my list is that it starts to sound like “wailin’” after awhile, like “the baby was wailin’ for the whole flight”
