I really [name]LOVE[/name] the name [name]Annie[/name], but don’t think it works well on its own with my last name: [name]Egan[/name]. I am trying out different names that could have [name]Annie[/name] as a nick name. So far I like [name]Ainsley[/name] and [name]Hannah[/name], but am not 100% certain that they work. Here are my questions:
Would [name]Annie[/name] [name]Egan[/name] work by itself?
Would [name]Hannah[/name] or [name]Ainsley[/name] work as full names for [name]Annie[/name]? If so, which one do you prefer?
Any other suggestions? I don’t like [name]Annelise[/name] or [name]Annabel[/name], though.
I think [name]Annie[/name] [name]Egan[/name] sounds fine. I mean it does sort if flow into the last name but I don’t think that’s necessarily a bad thing
I personally like [name]Antonia[/name] nn [name]Annie[/name], [name]Bethany[/name] nn [name]Annie[/name], [name]Deanna[/name] nn [name]Annie[/name], [name]Susannah[/name] nn [name]Annie[/name]
[name]Hannah[/name] doesn’t really get the nickname [name]Annie[/name], [name]Anna[/name] would be better. [name]Ainsley[/name] hasn’t got the an sound, it’s more of an ain sound, so again it doesn’t really work for me.
[name]Susanna[/name] is favorite way to get to [name]Annie[/name]. I also really love the classics [name]Anna[/name] and [name]Anne[/name], nn [name]Annie[/name]. Good luck!
[name]Annie[/name] as a full name is nms but I don’t think it goes badly with [name]Egan[/name].
I’m a fan of the lovely, classic [name]Anne[/name] and [name]Anna[/name], but if you want something more interesting:
[name]Anthea[/name] (this would be my top pick)
[name]Anais[/name]
[name]Anastasia[/name]
[name]Annika[/name]
[name]Andromeda[/name] (ymmv, I think this would be hard to pull off, and anyway [name]Andie[/name] would be the more intuitive nickname)
[name]Antoinette[/name]
[name]Anwen[/name]
[name]Antigone[/name]
