[name]Carly[/name]!! If you don’t spell it right she will only be correcting people her entire life! No offense but there is no point in using a name if you cannot even spell it right!
Please, please, please spell it [name]Carly[/name]. Dillonsfan01 is right. There’s no point in using a name if you don’t want to spell it correctly. I know this will come across as offensive, but I must say it. [name]Every[/name] other spelling of [name]Carly[/name] you have listed screams “low-class.” You do not want to saddle your child with that.
I’ve always had a thing for [name]Karly[/name]. I’m not sure why. I’m all for using traditional spellings, but I think [name]Karly[/name] can honestly work. Not too different (usually, I hate this logic! lol), and still easy to remember and spell, but much more interesting than just [name]Carly[/name], imo. I used [name]Karly[/name] in a story I once wrote–I still like it quite a bit.
[name]Carly[/name], [name]Carlie[/name], or even [name]Karly[/name]. I disagree that any spelling other than [name]Carly[/name] is low-class. Not everyone has the same taste. However, some are a little too creative even for me.
[name]Karli[/name] and [name]Carli[/name] would also work, but I feel like they should be nicknames for something. I was actually considering [name]Carly[/name], but it was hard to decide between [name]Carly[/name] and [name]Carlie[/name]. [name]Hope[/name] that helps!
[name]Carly[/name], [name]Karly[/name] or [name]Karlee[/name]
I prefer a ‘K’ personally as it makes it less like [name]Carl[/name].
[name]Karlee[/name] could also be a nn for [name]Karolina[/name] or [name]Karoline[/name].
[name]One[/name] of my friends daughters is named [name]Khali[/name], it’s a family last name so I think it’s nice but I would just stick to the normal [name]Carly[/name]
My sister’s middle name is [name]Carleigh[/name]–a tribute to my late grandfather, [name]Carl[/name]. We liked the name, but as a middle, that was the main motivation–we had others we liked more.
Personally, I’ve met several catty girls with the spelling “[name]Carly[/name]” so I’m not a fan of that spelling. It’s also, contrary to what’s being said above, not exactly the “correct” spelling. Frankly, we (I say “we” because my sister is quite a bit younger than me, so the family had a big say) chose the “[name]Carleigh[/name]” spelling because “[name]Carly[/name]” comes off as a bit “lower class” (if I have to use that term, not a fan of it) and it was becoming more popular where we lived. [name]Haven[/name]'t had to correct any spellings yet! I tell them “Carleigh” like “[name]Vivien[/name] [name]Leigh[/name]” and people seem to get it.
