as a brother to [name]Evan[/name]? I know one name is Norse and one Welsh:-) but my dh LOVES the name [name]Erik[/name]… we probably will only have these 2 children, so if both have “E” for first initial is no big deal to us… in fact, we kind of like the 4 letter E name connection between brothers. I just don’t really love the name [name]Erik[/name] like I do [name]Evan[/name]. I guess it is growing on me a little, but it would not be my first choice for [name]Evan[/name]'s brother… actually, I prefer [name]Matthew[/name] or [name]Davis[/name]… wdyt of [name]Erik[/name] as a name in general and also as a brother to [name]Evan[/name]? thanks!!
I much prefer Eirk over [name]Matthew[/name] and [name]Davis[/name]. [name]Matthew[/name] is so common and boring, and although I like [name]David[/name], [name]Davis[/name] sounds like an emasculated version of [name]David[/name]. I think [name]Erik[/name] and [name]Evan[/name] sound great together.
I don’t mind the repeated E names. [name]Erik[/name] and [name]Evan[/name] sounds fine together.
In general, I don’t really like [name]Erik[/name]/[name]Eric[/name] but I do think it sounds fine for you. I also really like [name]Matthew[/name] and [name]Evan[/name].
[name]Erik[/name] is a great name for your baby! And the repeated ‘E’ actually sounds really cool. Perhaps it wouldn’t work on more than two siblings, but as a pair they’d be excellent. [name]Matthew[/name] is a bit too common now and I think that [name]Davis[/name] sounds more like a surname than a fn. [name]Erik[/name] and [name]Evan[/name] go great together, and it also sounds as if they have a close bond. [name]Love[/name] it.
[name]Erik[/name] and [name]Evan[/name] are a great combo!
