WDYT of Esken for a girl?

I’ve seen this name mostly used as a surname, however, I’ve heard there is an alternate spelling (Arabic) of the name [name_f]Alexandria[/name_f] which is Eskendria (Teatro Eskendria in [name_f]Alexandria[/name_f], Egypt). What are your thoughts on that for a girl’s first name?

Eskendria and Esken for short? She would mainly go by Esken which I imagine might be the equivalent to [name_u]Alex[/name_u] in [name_f]English[/name_f]?

It’s different and I like it but I’m not sure about it since I’ve never heard it before. What do you think?

i really like it! it has quite a Scandinavian sound to it.

i like the name [name_f]Eska[/name_f] so it reminds me of that.

i think it would be a cool alternative to the trendy Aspen!!

It’s pretty and cool! I’d assume it was an invented name based on the popular -en ending, but there’s nothing wrong with that. The actual story behind it is interesting and makes me like it more!

I love similar names like [name_f]Eska[/name_f] and [name_u]Esker[/name_u], so Esken naturally appeals.

I adore [name_f]Eska[/name_f] so this is right up my alley! It’s spunky and I love the unisex vibe. Esken is actually more my thing than Eskendria but both are super cool and gorgeous!
