I really like the name! I feel like Evie is a cute nickname but a bit of a stretch for Elowen. It could work though!
I personally don’t like Nell, but that’s just my own preference - feel free to use it if you love it!
Winnie, Ellie, Ella, or even Flo could also work!
Edit: Evie definitely works!
I really like the name I feel like [name_f]Evie[/name_f] as a nickname
[name_f]Evie[/name_f] mainly comes from [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f], as well as the fact that there are two E names in her name
It doesn’t really flow for me, unfortunately. I’d personally prefer [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] [name_f]Flora[/name_f].
If I only knew her name was [name_f]Elowen[/name_f], then [name_f]Evie[/name_f] would be a bit of a confusing nickname. I do think it works because of [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f], of course. I quite like Nell/Nellie as a nickname.
it’s a beautiful name and nell is a perfect nickname !!
I’m sorry I think [name_f]Evie[/name_f] as a nickname for a [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] is a bit of a stretch. [name_f]Lolo[/name_f] would be a cute one. [name_u]Or[/name_u] maybe but [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] as the first? Then go with [name_f]Evie[/name_f]? I also knew an [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f], who went by [name_u]Van[/name_u].
I like Evangeline Flora nn Evie better personally! Makes more sense to me, because the nn Evie comes mostly from Evangeline, especially out of these names.
[name_f]Elowen[/name_f] is my favorite girl name and definitely would’ve been our baby’s name if they were a girl!
[name_f]Evie[/name_f] is an adorable nickname, but I think if her first name is [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] people may be pretty confused where the nickname came from. It is a trend I’m seeing right now where people want to call their babies nicknames based on their middle name(s) instead of their first name, but I just don’t think it’ll be sustainable as they grow up. People aren’t commonly called by their full name so people will only know her by her first name and will create nicknames based off of [name_f]Elowen[/name_f].
If you love the nickname [name_f]Evie[/name_f] then maybe consider making [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] her first name. Other cute nicknames for [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] are [name_u]Win[/name_u], [name_f]Winnie[/name_f], [name_f]Elle[/name_f], [name_f]Ella[/name_f], [name_f]Ellie[/name_f], Low, [name_f]Lolo[/name_f], [name_m]Lowie[/name_m], even Elo. That was one of my favorite things about [name_f]Elowen[/name_f], it has soooo many cute nickname options!!
[name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] [name_f]Flora[/name_f] would flow better imo but it is a lovely combo! I think nn [name_f]Nell[/name_f] makes more sense
