Honestly, I’ve never liked the name, but my whole family loves it so I’m really unsure.
Not my absolute favourite, but I really like the calm, simple, timeless quality [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] has.
[name_f]Hannah[/name_f] is strong but sweet, gentle but tough. I like it but it is a bit popular for me
There’s not really anything to dislike about the name. It has a pleasant sound and I like nicknames Honey and Annie. It just doesn’t feel special to me, or special enough to strongly like, since it’s been very popular for such a long time. I prefer Anna, Annie and Honey on their own.
I really like it, but you don’t have to!
i really like it but i think it’s too popular for me. There isn’t a whole lot that makes it very distinctive though
[name_f]Hannah[/name_f] has really grown on me of recent!
I think [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] is an understated classic choice that feels reserved and elegant she’s strong with lovely biblical connections. Admittedly I prefer [name_f]Anna[/name_f] but still [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] is lovely.
I do really like [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] - it’s my cousin’s name! It’s too popular for me but I love that it’s biblical and it reminds of the end of [name_u]Seven[/name_u] Brides for [name_u]Seven[/name_u] Brothers where they name the baby [name_f]Hannah[/name_f].
If you don’t like it don’t use it!
As a [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] myself, I have to stay that I of course kind of like it hahaha. That being said, there are a lot of Hannah’s in the world. I’m from a low population, Midwestern state, yet, when I was in school there were two other Hannah’s at my volleyball practices and two other Hannah’s on my floor in college…I later went to ROOM with one of those Hannah’s the next year haha. It is incredibly common— for good reason as graceful, familiar name. If you like the name, DO IT! You can’t go wrong
[name_f]Hannah[/name_f] pronounced with the “awn” sound drives me nuts. Otherwise its ok.
Between the two I prefer [name_f]Hanna[/name_f]. But my favourite spelling and form of the name is simply [name_f]Hana[/name_f] (pronounced Hah-Nah).
The different spellings give me different vibes.
[name_f]Hannah[/name_f] – classic, makes me think about high school girls and the 00’s. It’s nice and sweet, one of those names that most people like because it’s familiar and ages well.
[name_f]Hanna[/name_f] – I don’t know why, but with this spelling, the name feels more “european” to me. There’s something a bit more “elegant” and “exotic”.
I like [name_f]Hanna[/name_f] slightly more than [name_f]Hannah[/name_f].
I prefer [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] to [name_f]Hanna[/name_f], and [name_f]Hana[/name_f] to both.
There’s nothing wrong with the name— I think it’s perfectly pleasant— but I find it a bit “plain” for my own personal tastes, and in the area of the world I live in, I also find it very overused.
That said, I have known a lot of Hannah’s and they’ve all been great people, so I have nothing but positive associations with the name
coming from a hannah, it is a lovely name, barely any spelling or pronunciation issues and easy to learn and spell. i also love that it’s a palindrome! however, it is extremely popular, i know several and there are multiple in my classes at school. that being said it is a great name !
