I voted yes as a fn or mn, but I am slightly undecided. I don’t really know much about the name and tend to prefer names with more substantial history and usage. I don’t really see anything wrong with it though. It’s feminine and is pleasing to the ear.
I’m not really sure how I feel about it…I love Morwen and [name_f]Morwenna[/name_f] (which are both fairly close to Lowenna), but I can’t quite figure out whether or not I like Lowenna. If you like Lowenna though, I wouldn’t let anything get in your way.
I’m kind if undecided too.
I think Lowenna is lovely, although I’m fairly used to it as I spend a lot of time in Cornwall (lots of houses, businesses etc. with the name there). It’s easy to spell and pronounce and it has familiar sounds, so I still think it’s useable as a first name in [name_f]Canada[/name_f], even though most people won’t be familiar with it.
I don’t immediately like it very much, but it’s not a very familiar sound in the U.S. The only “Low” names we have are for boys, like [name_m]Lowell[/name_m] and [name_m]Lloyd[/name_m], so it throws me off a bit. It might work better in [name_f]Canada[/name_f], but I’m not qualified to have an opinion on that subject.
I do think it’s cute in your combos, and I like [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] Lowenna and [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] Lowenna.
I wouldn’t use Lowenna. It sounds weird to me.
It’s nice enough but I think you can do better.
I think its usable I’m just not that into it
