WDYT of Mana for a girl?

Pronounced mah-nuh. Meaning ‘‘everlasting,’’ ‘‘eternal,’’ in Persian and ‘‘spiritual powers’’ in Hawaiian.

I thought it was pronounced “Man-uh” at first, so it sounded a little awkward to me. It reminds me of the phrase “Mano a Mano”. I’m not a fan. I prefer [name_f]Tana[/name_f] and [name_f]Lana[/name_f].

Where I live, it means “sis”, so I can’t see it as a full name.
I prefer [name_f]Mara[/name_f].

I personally just think of this definition of mana “Mana is the spiritual life force energy or healing power that permeates the universe, in the culture of the Melanesians and Polynesians.” Mana is a common mechanic in a lot of video games, as another word for someone’s magic or power, so it’s a bit too tied to that for me.

This is also quite funny because Mana means mom in my own language!

In NZ where I live mana means the level of respect/honour/authority/prestige/charisma a person has.
