I’m starting to really love the name [name]Rebecca[/name]… What do you think of it?
I like [name]Rebecca[/name] [name]Grace[/name] with the nn [name]Becky[/name].
[name]Rebecca[/name] is a little too heavily biblical for my comfort, and [name]Becky[/name] to my ear sounds like the noise a chicken makes. I also think that [name]Grace[/name] is a very expected middle name - I’d love to see it in the first name position. Similar combinations:
[name]Grace[/name] [name]Roxanna[/name]
[name]Grace[/name] [name]Romilda[/name]
[name]Grace[/name] [name]Benedicta[/name]
…or even the very similar [name]Jane[/name], which I find less saccharine sweet and a little livelier.
I love [name]Rebecca[/name]! It’s my little sister’s name, nn [name]Becca[/name] (which I prefer infinitely to [name]Becky[/name], sorry!), and I just love its classic-but-Biblical feel. I think [name]Rebecca[/name] [name]Grace[/name] is very sweet, although I admit I like [name]Grace[/name] [name]Rebecca[/name] more.
Good luck!
Ahh, [name]Rebecca[/name] [name]Grace[/name] is my baby sister! (Not so much of a baby anymore–graduating high school!) We call her [name]Becca[/name]. Or actually, [name]Bec[/name].
Oh, I love [name]Rebecca[/name]! I think it’s such a timeless classic and it’s been on a steady drop down the popularity list for the past 10 years.
I [name]DO[/name] think it needs a more interesting middle name, though - [name]Grace[/name] is pretty enough, but very expected and filler.
Something like [name]Rebecca[/name] [name]Verity[/name] or [name]Rebecca[/name] [name]Alice[/name]…
[name]Rebecca[/name] is a nice, sensible, pretty name. [name]Grace[/name] is pretty too, but very over-used, in my opinion. Unless it has sentimental meaning for you, I’d go with something else.
I love:
[name]Rebecca[/name] [name]Joy[/name] (similar feel to [name]Rebecca[/name] [name]Grace[/name])
[name]Rebecca[/name] [name]Pearl[/name]
[name]Rebecca[/name] [name]Fay[/name]/[name]May[/name]
[name]Rebecca[/name] [name]Claire[/name]
[name]Rebecca[/name] [name]Katherine[/name]
I also really [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Grace[/name] [name]Rebecca[/name]!
[name]Rebecca[/name] [name]Grace[/name] is gorgeous! I prefer using it in full or [name]Becca[/name] to [name]Becky[/name], but beautiful classic nonetheless.
Thanks, I like the suggestions of [name]Rebecca[/name] [name]Joy[/name] and [name]Rebecca[/name] [name]Fay[/name].
I’m a [name]Rebecca[/name]. I can say several things about it from experience. I was never teased about my name. I think it is a name that can grow into adulthood, but sounds cute on a little girl. I prefer to go by my full name and only occasionally have to gently correct people. People get the spelling on the first try 9 times out of 10.
I think it’s a great name!
[name]Rebecca[/name] [name]Joy[/name] is pretty.
I adore [name]Rebecca[/name], ever since the book/movie of [name]Rebecca[/name]. and I like [name]Grace[/name] but [name]IMO[/name] it is too fillerish unless it has some other significance to you. Is there another name you absolutely love that you wouldn’t use as a first, something a little offbeat? To me, middle names can be a place to have fun or express yourself/honor others in your family, so if you have a hankering for something different, I’d be inclined to go for it. Otherwise, [name]Rebecca[/name] [name]Grace[/name] is certainly pretty!
[name]Rebecca[/name] is too plain and safe. I don’t care for it at all. I love [name]Grace[/name] and think it’s perfect as a FN or MN.
Of course, I love the name [name]Rebecca[/name] since it’s my daughter’s name! It’s beautiful, timeless, and elegant to me. I like [name]Rebecca[/name] [name]Grace[/name], but here some additional mn ideas:
[name]Rebecca[/name] [name]Eve[/name]
[name]Rebecca[/name] [name]Iris[/name]
[name]Rebecca[/name] [name]Catherine[/name]
[name]Rebecca[/name] [name]Daisy[/name]
[name]Rebecca[/name] [name]Ivy[/name]
[name]Rebecca[/name] [name]Elise[/name]
[name]Rebecca[/name] [name]Violet[/name]
[name]Rebecca[/name] [name]Diane[/name]
[name]Rebecca[/name] [name]Grace[/name] is quite pretty.
I hate the nickname [name]Becky[/name]…bad associations. Ha ha.
What about the nns [name]Becca[/name] or even Bex?
[name]Rebecca[/name] [name]Jane[/name]
[name]Rebecca[/name] [name]Elise[/name]
[name]Rebecca[/name] [name]Kate[/name]
[name]Rebecca[/name] [name]Belle[/name]
[name]Rebecca[/name] [name]Claire[/name]
[name]Rebecca[/name] [name]Sage[/name]
[name]Rebecca[/name] [name]Noelle[/name]
[name]Rebecca[/name] [name]Brynn[/name]
[name]Rebecca[/name] [name]Grace[/name] sounds really beautiful, but i do agree with others that [name]Grace[/name] is entirely overused as a mn. it’s the new [name]Marie[/name]. it sounds great w/ any fn you pair it with! i recently had 3 friends who indepentently name their kids [name]Grace[/name] for a mn. [name]Rebecca[/name] is beautiful fn!
P.S. I am one of the very few Berries who doesn’t mind the nn [name]Becky[/name]. It reminds me of [name]Becky[/name] [name]Thatcher[/name] from The Adventures of [name]Tom[/name] [name]Sawyer[/name], which I think is so cute. That said, my daughter is NOT a [name]Becky[/name]. I have never been able to call her that, as it simply does not fit her at all. In casual moments at home, I would sometimes call her “[name]Becca[/name]” or “[name]Becca[/name] [name]Jane[/name],” but at an early age, she began insisting on going by [name]Rebecca[/name] only. She has trained all her teachers and friends (and me) to call her just “[name]Rebecca[/name].” I think it’s great.
I love the name [name]Rebecca[/name] [name]Grace[/name]. Not a fan of [name]Becky[/name] but I think her and her friends will end up choosing if she wants a nickname.
I think it’s pretty. [name]Love[/name] both [name]Rebecca[/name] [name]Grace[/name] and [name]Grace[/name] [name]Rebecca[/name].
Never like nn [name]Becky[/name], sorry!
I love [name]Rebecca[/name]. I think it’s timeless but not popular right now, which gives it a unique sound. I prefer [name]Becca[/name] to [name]Becky[/name], and really love the nickname [name]Beck[/name] or Becks.
I think [name]Rebecca[/name] [name]Grace[/name] is pretty, but as pps have said, I’d actually steer away from [name]Grace[/name] unless it has some specific significance to you - it is becoming a bit of a filler. [name]Rebecca[/name] [name]Jane[/name] is my favorite combo (RJ is a cute nickname for a girl, [name]IMO[/name]), and I like [name]Rebecca[/name] [name]Pearl[/name] and [name]Rebecca[/name] [name]Eve[/name] as well (although [name]Rebecca[/name] [name]Eve[/name] is a BIT heavy on the biblical).
[name]Rebecca[/name] is a great name, it’s a classic that isn’t too popular now but lovely. [name]Grace[/name] does seem like a filler middle name but it’s pretty all the same and flows well.
Thank you for your answers. I know [name]Becky[/name] is not the most popular nn but I really like it and it sounds very natural to me. I would only use [name]Becky[/name] at home… And if she hates it when she’s older she can go by [name]Beck[/name] which I think sounds good for a teen.
