I’ve seen alot of these ‘spice’ names and I even go to school with a [name]Saffron[/name] and a [name]Sage[/name]. My question is what is your oppion on spicey names like these? [name]Love[/name] it or hate it? I’m on the fence.
I love [name]Sage[/name] and since it’s my maiden name I will probably use it as a first or a middle name. I like it more for a girl than a boy. Not so sure about [name]Saffron[/name].
I like [name]Sage[/name] and [name]Saffron[/name] is nice as well. I have [name]Cassia[/name] on my own list.
I like most of them My fn is [name]Ginger[/name].
I love [name]Sage[/name], for a girl.
I’m not really a fan, it feels like parents are trying to hard to make their children seem exotic.
I do like [name]Sage[/name], but on a boy only. On a girl it drives me mad, lol.
Herbs are wonderful, just as worthy of being used as names as flowers are, [name]IMO[/name]. I think [name]Sage[/name], and especially [name]Saffron[/name], are lovely. I think either would be complemented nicely by a more solid “name-name” in the middle.
Spice names are nice! [name]Love[/name] [name]Saffron[/name], [name]Sage[/name] is cool too. [name]Cassia[/name], Cumin, Alkanet, [name]Ginger[/name], Chervil, Lovage, Borage, [name]Anise[/name] and Caraway are sweet.
[name]Ginger[/name]! I forgot [name]Ginger[/name]. I love it and if my hubby wasn’t a red head and if there was less of a possibility of my children being red heads it would be on my list!
I like [name]Cayenne[/name] and Coriander
I also think Caraway is a nice possibility.
I’ve always liked [name]Poppy[/name]!
[name]Cassia[/name] and [name]Sage[/name] are very nice as well. I can see [name]Clover[/name] working maybe as a mn.
I’m not fond of [name]Saffron[/name], [name]Ginger[/name], [name]Cinnamon[/name] and the like–they sound like cat names to me.
Marjoram also sounds like one that would work.
[name]Bay[/name] is cute as a mn even though it’s not immediately recognized as a spice first.
[name]Basil[/name] is lovely, but maybe too British sounding.
[name]Rosemary[/name] is probably the most commonly used one, but it’s not one I really like.
I like [name]Sage[/name] a lot, definitely on a girl, but maybe more as a middle name to complete a longer first name.

I can see using (not personally, just in objectively in general):
[name]Anise[/name]
Annatto
[name]Cassia[/name]
[name]Clove[/name]
Coriander (reminiscent of [name]Lysander[/name] to me!)
[name]Juniper[/name]
[name]Lavender[/name]
Mahlab
Paprika is borderline, but it has such a sweet/cute sound!
[name]Saffron[/name]
Sumac
[name]Tarragon[/name]
I really like [name]Sage[/name], but it would not work with my last name ([name]Page[/name]).
