We can’t seem to decide on a baby girls name. Our shortlist is getting no shorter! Any help/suggestions appreciated please. We already have 2 girls with A names and our boy has a J name so any fresh ideas welcome but here is our shortlist:
[name_f]Ellen[/name_f]
[name_f]Alice[/name_f]
[name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] (pretty but spelling is tough)
[name_u]Seren[/name_u] (not sure how to pronounce this one)
[name_f]Violet[/name_f]
[name_f]Violet[/name_f], [name_f]Alice[/name_f] and [name_u]Seren[/name_u] are all beautiful. I think [name_f]Alice[/name_f] is a timeless classic, while [name_f]Violet[/name_f] seems a trendier option.
[name_u]Seren[/name_u] is a little beauty, and I don’t think you will meet many.
Any reason why you don’t want to continue the A trend? [name_f]Alice[/name_f] is pretty, very classic. [name_f]Ailish[/name_f] is one of my faves, same vibe as [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f], but keeps the A. [name_u]Seren[/name_u] is lovely but quite unique. [name_f]Violet[/name_f] is one of my very faves but I hear it a lot, if popularity bothers you. I really love [name_f]Ellen[/name_f], don’t hear it at all, but only if you don’t call her [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] (that I hear too often) [name_m]Lenny[/name_m] is adorable!
I like [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] and [name_f]Violet[/name_f] the most, too! I guess it’d depend on your sibset already–I could see [name_f]Violet[/name_f] going better with something like [name_f]Annabel[/name_f], [name_f]Aurora[/name_f], and [name_u]James[/name_u] (or [name_m]Jack[/name_m]), but [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] would still fit in well.
I love seren, However; how about [name_u]Aja[/name_u] ([name_f]Asia[/name_f]), Alseren, [name_u]Ainslie[/name_u], or [name_f]Elowen[/name_f], [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] ?
