We had known her name for 12 years...

… this week, we finally got to meet her!

As many of you Berries might be aware, my husband and me had known our daughter’s name would be Rebekka since April 2013, for all 12 years of our relationship. We knew it was a girl since January, but didn’t tell anyone. Today was my due date.

was born this Tuesday morning 1:35 after a heavy but very short labor. She is our first child.
While her middle name was not chosen for meaning, she took it very seriously and was – although I didn’t plan to – born underwater. We’re both recovering quickly and already home from the hospital. I won’t upload pictures though – you’ll have to just take my word for it that she’s the cutest baby ever.
