Congrats on having this list! [name]Asher[/name] [name]John[/name] is my favorite but you can’t go wrong with any of them! [name]Will[/name] you post in the birth announcement section when he arrives?
I think I like [name]Asher[/name] [name]John[/name] best, too. I think too much emphasis is sometimes placed on sibset rhythm, but I like [name]Asher[/name] best with [name]James[/name], [name]Noah[/name], and [name]Lucy[/name]. [name]Both[/name] [name]Henry[/name] and [name]Liam[/name] (-ey ending and L- beginning) are a bit matchy with [name]Lucy[/name]. Congratulations, any way you choose!
Thanks for all of the input! My husband and I talked again last night and we really want to continue with a Biblical/Hebrew name for our 3rd boy… to match [name]James[/name] and [name]Noah[/name]. [name]Lucy[/name] breaks that pattern… but we just fell in love with that name , and her mn [name]Abigail[/name] follows suit. But for the boys, think we want the Biblical pattern to stay.
So this gets us down to [name]Isaac[/name] or [name]Asher[/name]. [name]Isaac[/name]'s been on our list from the beginning, and hardest part is that we both equally like the name [name]Asher[/name]. Really hard to pick!!! If we were having twin boys, no doubt we’d name them [name]Asher[/name] and [name]Isaac[/name]! Actually love how these two names sound together. But only have one coming (which I’m glad about, too!), and need to choose a name. [name]Feel[/name] like I keep going back and forth, yet really don’t want to use both names… you never know down the road if another baby boy was a part of our future! So not keen on putting one in the middle spot.
So which name do we let go of??? My gut instinct keeps changing.
I voted for [name]Asher[/name] [name]John[/name]. I also think [name]Isaac[/name] [name]John[/name] is a good choice and I like the meaning of [name]Isaac[/name] - laughter and [name]John[/name] - beloved.
[name]Isaac[/name] [name]John[/name] gets my vote! I think [name]Asher[/name] is getting quite trendy and although a Biblical name, it just doesn’t have that same “classic” quality as [name]Isaac[/name].
On second thoughts I think I will vote for [name]Isaac[/name] [name]John[/name] first because I love the meaning and I like the nn of [name]Zac[/name] more than [name]Ash[/name], it is a bit more spunky imho.
