She’s here!!! Frances Plum, born September 3rd at 39+1 weeks.

Contractions started Tuesday morning, mild and far apart. I took my other two girls for a big morning adventure outside and we walked relentlessly, keeping my mind busy. I prepped some food in the kitchen during naps and by 4pm, I was feeling a bit squirmy with the pain. My husband took the girls to the park and I finished up putting some clothes away. We fed the girls and put them to bed and then I set up my birth space downstairs.

Labour was an intense two hours start to finish. Frances was born safely at home and caught underwater by my husband. 6 pounds exactly, she is such a dainty thing!

Big sisters Leni Bloom and Ru Ines are enamoured by her, and so are we. She truly is such a sweet little Plum :sparkles:

Thank you to all for the insight, encouragement and support with naming. It feels absolutely perfect for her.
