our little love entered this world after an intense and beautiful labor. He was calmly alert and 8 lb, 13 oz (compared to our 6 lb first born), giving off a solid, old-soul vibe from the start. We were without a name for almost 24 hours, going back and forth relentlessly. Nothing we’d talked about felt right…so, like any rational adult would do, we facetimed our toddler and asked her to choose!
Baby boy Ridge Anthony joins big sister Rosemary Kay. He has doubled our hearts…we feel so lucky that he is ours! Thanks to everyone who offered advice and suggestions on my naming journey…though Ridge was typically not a fan favorite in my posts, it fits him just right!
