What about taytum and oakley

Hey so i saw these names somewhere and i thought they would be cute together. They are really uncommon the only thing i am not sure about is my niece watches the fish fam on youtube which is just a cute family but they have twins and taytum and oakley and then a daughter named halston and just named there boy oliver. So what do you guys thing on the names taytum and oakley. Would you name your kid it?

I don’t think they’re really uncommon. They’re not my style. I grew up with a few girls named [name_u]Tatum[/name_u] (not a fan of the Y in there) of various spellings so the name is fine but I don’t think it’s fresh. [name_u]Oakley[/name_u] is okay, I like it more than [name_f]Taytum[/name_f].

Halston is probably my favorite of them. I definitely wouldn’t use [name_f]Taytum[/name_f] and [name_u]Oakley[/name_u] together because I knew of the pairing even though I only have a vague idea who they are.

I’m not a personal fan of either, [name_u]Tatum[/name_u] nn [name_u]Tate[/name_u] would be okay.

They’re actually getting trendy, not that uncommon. I prefer [name_u]Tatum[/name_u] to [name_f]Taytum[/name_f]. [name_u]Oakley[/name_u] has a nice, outdoorsy feel.

Not a fan of the style but that aside I don’t get the association given how I don’t watch the family, I like [name_u]Tatum[/name_u] written like this and think it works better with [name_u]Oakley[/name_u] as both are unisex and I like the idea of a unisex combo. I think the pairing is original (though it’s on someone else how ironic )

I prefer the spelling [name_u]Tatum[/name_u] but it’s a cute name!! [name_u]Oakley[/name_u] is earthly and sweet

Taytum and [name_u]Oakley[/name_u] are sweet! I love [name_u]Tatum[/name_u], but it rhymes with surname a bit, so I’m on the fence as to whether or not I’d ever use it lol. [name_u]Oakley[/name_u] is lovely - it fits in nicely with other nature names right now too.

Neither are exactly uncommon - both rank in the top 500 in the US ([name_u]Tatum[/name_u] at #358 and within the top 500 for the last 20 years; [name_u]Oakley[/name_u] at #348, having just entered the top 1000 in 2013), but they’re also not entirely popular either. They seem to be sitting in that sweet spot of the top 1000 for the time being.

[name_u]Oakley[/name_u] is cute. It feels quite trendy, but it has a sweet sound and I like it.
I’m not a big fan of [name_f]Taytum[/name_f]. I definitely prefer the [name_u]Tatum[/name_u] spelling, but it just doesn’t seem very name-like to me. I’d prefer [name_u]Tate[/name_u].

Love [name_u]Oakley[/name_u]. Its really popular here. But could be shortened to [name_u]Oak[/name_u]. I dont know any [name_m]Oaks[/name_m].
I’ve never met or heard of a [name_u]Tatum[/name_u]. (Were in [name_f]England[/name_f], UK)

I prefer the spelling [name_u]Tatum[/name_u] and like that both names are unisex so work well as a twin set, even though neither are my style

I prefer the spelling [name_f]Taytum[/name_f] to [name_u]Tatum[/name_u] as I pronounce them differently ([name_u]Tay[/name_u]-tum and [name_m]Tah[/name_m]-tum). And my favorite out of the two would be [name_u]Oakley[/name_u]. Because it sounds more complete.

I’m not really a fan of either, but would go with [name_f]Taytum[/name_f] over [name_u]Oakley[/name_u]. [name_u]Oakley[/name_u] just makes me think of the sunglasses. They’re definitely names I would consider popular or at least popular in style. I know of a [name_u]Tatum[/name_u] and I know an [name_u]Oakley[/name_u] and an [name_f]Oaklyn[/name_f]. I have no knowledge whatsoever of the family you were talking about with the twins, so hearing [name_f]Taytum[/name_f] and [name_u]Oakley[/name_u] together wouldn’t phase me.

I might name a son [name_u]Oakley[/name_u], though more likely just plain [name_u]Oak[/name_u].

I prefer [name_u]Tatum[/name_u] to [name_f]Taytum[/name_f], though both names remind me (sorry) of Tater Tots.

They are a nice pair, but I’d spell [name_u]Tatum[/name_u] without the y.

I wouldn’t say either of them are uncommon. Especially [name_u]Oakley[/name_u]. I feel like I hear the name [name_u]Oakley[/name_u] a lot more than the name [name_u]Tatum[/name_u].

I automatically associated both the [name_m]Fish[/name_m] Fam even though I couldn’t remember that family’s name. I think they’re popular enough that if you used both names together people would for sure associate it with them.

I agree with others that I like [name_u]Halston[/name_u] the best. I think that one is more unique and new than [name_f]Taytum[/name_f] or [name_u]Oakley[/name_u].
