I used to be called [name_f]Lily[/name_f], and now I’m wondering if it sounds childish for a 20-year-old. (If not, please post a comment below!)
As you know, there are tons of nicknames for [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]. I’ve been thinking of [name_f]Elise[/name_f], [name_f]Ella[/name_f], [name_f]Elle[/name_f], [name_f]Ellie[/name_f], [name_f]Elsie[/name_f], [name_f]Ibby[/name_f], [name_f]Lise[/name_f], [name_u]Lisa[/name_u], etc. but I have no idea how they sound(e.g. extrovert, childish, cute, …).
Could you recommend some nicknames for me?
My suggestion is to pick what YOU like. Try calling yourself all of these names and see how they fit.
My [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] has almost always gone by her full name esprcially. As a child she was [name_f]Liz[/name_f] at school and [name_f]Lilibet[/name_f] (called this by her Grandad). As a teenager she went by the nickname of [name_f]Betty[/name_f] (a personal nono for me) for a while. However as an adult she decided she liked her lovely name and now has gone by this for 26 years
