I was wondering if there are any names you truly hate and why?
Personally, I’ve always hated names with hard ‘g’ sounds in them, like Margaret or Gertrude. But I also really dislike ‘modern’ names like Aubrey, Kinsley and Cora.
So any names you truly hate, and why?

I wouldn’t actually consider [name_f]Cora[/name_f] to be a “modern name” in the same sense as [name_f]Kinsley[/name_f] and [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u].
It was in the US top 100 names from 1880 (when they started tracking names) until 1912, so I think its recent popularity fits more into the category of “old names coming back because the people who had them are dead, making them no longer associated with old people”
