please help
I’ve always liked [name]Mackenzie[/name], [name]Kennedy[/name], [name]Meredith[/name], [name]Stacey[/name], [name]Hannah[/name]…I suppose anything that sounds like it could be a female name. I actually think ‘feminine’ last names sound great on guys.

I love [name]Deveraux[/name]!
I’ve always women with maiden names that they could use as first or middle names for their children - it always seems like such a nice tradition. But that’s not very specific, I guess. [name]MacGregor[/name] has always been a favorite, along with the other traditional Scottish names.
The surname Suffren has personal relivance and a nice flow
I love my grandma’s maiden name, [name]Burch[/name], and my great-grandmother’s maiden name, Rygaard. Also my other grandma’s maiden name, Rockenbach is fun. =)
Yep! I’ve always loved [name]Deveraux[/name]! (High-fivies, Ricalina!)
I also love:
[name]Arlington[/name]
Andrews
[name]Collins[/name]
[name]Everett[/name]
[name]Gardner[/name]
[name]Rose[/name] (I know two people with [name]Rose[/name] as a last name)
[name]Vaughn[/name]
[name]Wellington[/name]
Westinghouse
[name]Willoughby[/name]
Good luck!
[name]Trent[/name]
I love really English sounding ones from literature such as [name]Bartlett[/name], Honeychurch ([name]EM[/name] [name]Forster[/name]) and [name]Bennett[/name], [name]Willoughby[/name], Dashwood.
Oh and know someone with a lovely surname:Goodheart
I would give an organ to be a [name]Whittaker[/name].
I’m another one who’s into very English sounding names. [name]Bartelby[/name], [name]Digby[/name], etc.
I also really love almost anything Irish (I’m talking to you O’[name]Neal[/name]!) or Scottish. Make me a [name]McGee[/name] any day! Those kinds of surnames seem to fit well with just about every first name I love. My grandmother was a McAuley… I wonder if I can resurrect it… hmm…
I like [name]Jones[/name]. It might be common, but it goes with absolutely everything. (Except fot the obvious [name]Joan[/name].)
I totally agree, I also love surnames that can be turned into firsts/middles…
I wish mine was something like [name]Beckett[/name], [name]Owen[/name], or [name]Collins[/name]…then maybe I wouldn’t be so tempted to use them as FNs!!
Oh, and I also love [name]Carmichael[/name]…so fun to say!
LOL! Thanks for the laugh, [name]Salome[/name]! (By the way, I have a cousin named [name]Salome[/name], and I think it’s a wonderful name.)

An ally!
Why is it that I’ve never met another [name]Salome[/name] but I can always find someone who knows one?? I’m clearly being avoided.
Crowe
[name]Grayson[/name]
[name]Carlisle[/name]
[name]Chesney[/name] - this is my actual last name, and I just love it!
de [name]Winter[/name] - like in the movie “[name]Rebecca[/name]”
any names that start with [name]Fitz[/name] - I think they are so much fun.
Glass because of J.D. [name]Salinger[/name]'s Glass family.
[name]Gray[/name]
[name]Green[/name] - my favorite color, but I also love blue green and soft coral and persimmon.
[name]Hawes[/name] - we know this really stuck-up family named the [name]Hawes[/name]. It is fun to say [name]Hawes[/name] in a snobby way. We also know a family whose last name is Haah. They are not stuck up. But [name]Hawes[/name] is pretty fun to say and spell. One of my husband’s nn’s is Ha.
Katz - because I love kitties.
[name]Montague[/name]
[name]Morris[/name] - because of [name]William[/name] [name]Morris[/name].
[name]Perkins[/name] - love! [name]Love[/name] to think of first names to go with it.
[name]Winter[/name]
[name]Winthrop[/name] - love it even more than [name]Perkins[/name].
Anything that conjures up an image. My very favorite being Gatewood. So lovely! Of those that have been mentioned, Honeychurch and Glass fit this category and are really nice as well. I also have a softspot for [name]Griffin[/name].
Oh, I forgot! I used to know a girl with the last name Vines…I loved that. I also love [name]Frost[/name], just throwing that out there.
Fun topic!
[name]Perkins[/name]- I am very fortunate to have it as my last name and have had tons of nn’s from it!
I like names that sound like old Southern money families -
[name]Montgomery[/name]
Delacroix
