I’m going to say [name_m]Calvin[/name_m] Andrew-definitely not the most unique name on here but certainly the most studious/intellectual sounding name I’ve ever come up with.

Ooh, I’ve been waiting for an opportunity like this! If you don’t mind, I’m going to humble-brag about a few select character names I utterly adore.
-Astrid Vivienne Bendixon: I just adore this forename-middle name combo, it feels so opposite yet so complementary! I first came up with it in one of those “name my four little women” threads that were trending in the General Name Discussion a while back, and it grew on me so much that I included it in my list of favorite combos from that specific thread. Given that I was searching for a middle for Astrid for a while, it felt like a godsend when I finally decided upon it.
-Azalea Ornella Mayberry: a gentle girl with a passion for botany needs a very floral name, and Ornella, meaning “flowering ash tree” in Italian, has just the right amount of beauty and kick to it that I cemented it as Azalea’s middle name!
-Bethany Jane Atkinson: I decided to give some miscellaneous background characters middle names, and Bethany Jane was one of the few I liked enough to officialize it.
-Christopher Ian Maddison: Another random combo I loved. I just like opposite-length combos so much, and “Christopher Ian” fits this preference to a T!
-Caroline Josephine McCaffrey: Her original name was Caroline Jeanne, but I loved Josephine more and it would add special meaning considering her father’s name is Joseph McCaffrey.
-Dorothy Edelweiss Ravenstein: strong German heritage here, and I knew I struck gold when I discovered Edelweiss in a WW2 novel I read once! Among other things, this flower symbolizes love, devotion, patriotism, adventure, and sacrifice, attributes that actually fit Dorothy pretty well! In fact, I’ve canonically made this the reason why her parents chose Edelweiss as her middle name!
-Delilah Catherine Ferguson (nee Bermingham): Not much explanation, I just like “Delilah” and “Catherine” together, and it soft, heartwarming vibes match best-for-beat with Delilah’s personality!
-Desiree Montana Purifoy: This is yet another combo I devised on Nameberry by chance while plying one of those “Create A Family” baby name games and given I already had a bully character named Desiree, I figured I’d include it as her middle name. The combo has grown on me quite a bit!
-Emmett Lee Endicott: No long complicated backstory for this one! Just a random cute lil’ combo for a cute lil’ grumpy guy with moderate insecurity issues.
-Harper Annamarie Mortenson: “Anna” was originally her name before I discovered Harper, but I was never really going to officialize it as her name anyway because of how dull I found it to be. Nevertheless, when deciding her middle name, I instantly thought of her beta name, but found the combo “Harper Anna” to still be too plain, so after doing some research, I discovered the compound name Annamarie, and I thought it was perfect! Funnily enough, I enjoy Annamarie much more than just Anna and Marie by themselves.
-Judith Florence Gutenberg (nee Bermingham): The elder twin of Delilah Catherine, the explanation for Delilah is the exact same here. I feel that “Judith Florence” radiates a mature, elegant vibe, much like how Judith is as a person.
-Jeremiah Tyson Hamilton: A macho Biblical name paired with the surname of a famous boxer? Sign me up! Even more fitting when you take into account as captain of his school’s soccer team with future ambitions in soccer beyond that!
-Jocelyn Corazon Guanzon Panganiban: being a girl of Filippino background, I wanted to give her a middle name of Filippino origin, and Corazon, a name almost exclusive to that country, means “heart” in Spanish, and it quickly became my favorite option since “Jocelyn Corazon” rolls off the tongue so well!
-Kerensa Loveday Bellamy: I initially had no middle name for Kerensa, meaning “love” in Cornish, but after some time on Nameberry, another user listed the combo “Kerensa Loveday” and I immediately thought, “Wow, that’s the perfect combo for Kerensa!” and rolled with it. Granted, it’s a tad sappy to essentially be named Love Loveday, but I think it adds extra irony, considering Kerensa’s character and role in the story (spoiler alert: she’s a serial poisoner working as a nurse at her adoptive father’s hospital as a means of getting revenge for his abuse of her as a child. However, she does legitimately enjoy the thrill of harming people without even an ounce of suspicion falling upon her).
-Kelsey London Richardson-Cooper: Another random combo that really gew on me! As a bonus, her mother’s name is Belinda Paris, so we’re matching city names in this family!
-Leslie Ann Reynolds: Again, nothing complicated here, I just like to combo Leslie Ann and just so happened to already have a background character named Leslie, so there ya go.
-Meagan Rochelle Hamilton: the younger sister of Jeremiah. No real process behind this one, I just liked how it sounded. Still one of my OG favorites though!
-Nathaniel Christian Bermingham: The older brother of Judith and Delilah. This combo is ripe with valor to me and considering how they were raised in an extremely religious Christian cult, this name just makes sense all around.
-Olivia Chrysanthemum Auernheimer: Initially came up with this combo on Nameberry, and I loved it so much that I reposted it a few times in various threads and eventually settled on making it the full name of a little girl character I had named Olivia.
-Pepper Pierangela Mayberry: a colorful character deserves an equally colorful name, and after deciding upon her Irish-Italian heritage, I discovered the hidden gem of “Pierangela” and ran with it!
-Priya Kumari Chaudhary: Both names are of Sanskrit origin, with Priya meaning “beloved” and Kumari meaning “princess.” Put it together, and what do you get? “Beloved Princess.” It doesn’t get much better than that.
-Samantha Lynn McConnell: It the same boat as Bethany Jane, Samantha Lynn was a randomized combo that I liked very much! I’d say I actually like it more than Bethany Jane.
-Victoria Wilhelmina Halliburton: the only child and daughter of a rich couple, it was practically obligatory to give her a grand name. After some time of experimenting with various combos such as “Victoria Dawn” and “Victoria Adelaide”, I sought inspiration from the German heritage of her mother, Millicent Halliburton (nee Hilderbrand), and what was a bold German feminine name befitting a classic forename such as Victoria? Well, we all know now- and I love the end result!
-Valentina Diane Bell: Being a woman of class, I had to give her an equally classy middle to match! Frankly, I think “Valentina Diane” blends just enough exoticness and classicality for my taste!
These are all so cool! [name_f]My[/name_f] character names are boring compared to these.
I’m so bad with title names, most stories I just call story 1, story 2, etc.

[name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_f]Gianna[/name_f] Goldberg
[name_f]Cassidy[/name_f] Elsher
[name_f]Alora[/name_f] & [name_m]Rylan[/name_m] [name_m]Thatcher[/name_m] (twins)
Some of these guys don’t have middle names. I don’t know why … I’ll work on that.

[name_f]Emiliana[/name_f] Valadez
[name_f]Rebeca[/name_f] Valadez
Eilian [name_m]Pryce[/name_m]
[name_m]Griffin[/name_m] & [name_f]Eira[/name_f] [name_m]Pryce[/name_m]
The Valadez’s are Spanish, Pryce’s are Welsh. I don’t know why they don’t have middle names either.
That’s a few of mine … I have some short stories too. Sorry the names aren’t more interesting
It’s totally fine! I actually appreciate more down-to-earth and ordinary names than I do obviously fictional or fantasy ones. These are definitely my style!
[name_f]Ivory[/name_f] Canis-Irae is probably my favorite!

i will never ever shut up about [name_f]Nepenthe[/name_f]. Their main thing is they’re a hypnotist, and the definition of [name_f]Nepenthe[/name_f] is “a drug of forgetfulness-- [name_f][/name_f] something capable of causing oblivion of grief or suffering.” so obv i found that and i felt i struck gold
[name_f]Zoi[/name_f] [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] [name_f]Ffion[/name_f] is probably my favorite of my current characters!
