What are your favourite Lu/Lou names for girls?

Also, what do you think of the name [name]Lula[/name]? Is it usable, or better as a nickname?

[name]Lula[/name] is adorable and could work by itself, but I’d probably prefer it as a nn. Some of my favourite [name]Lu[/name]/[name]Lou[/name] names are:
[name]Lucinda[/name]
[name]Lucasta[/name]
[name]Louisa[/name]
[name]Lucretia[/name]
[name]Luna[/name]
[name]Lilou[/name]

[name]Louella[/name]/Luelle is also sweet, and has a similar feel to [name]Lula[/name]. Also, not sure if it counts but I love [name]Tallulah[/name], which could easily give the nn [name]Lula[/name].

Good luck

[name]Lucinda[/name] and [name]Lucy[/name] [name]Lula[/name] is a bit too nickname-y for me, I have to say. I’d love to see it as a nn for [name]Lucinda[/name], [name]Tallulah[/name], or something else:)

[name]Lucinda[/name]!
We’re naming our daughter due in [name]October[/name] [name]Lucinda[/name] (nickname [name]Indie[/name])

[name]Lourdes[/name]- my Aunt’s name. Her nn was lu-lu & lu-la.

I think [name]Lula[/name] could work as a nickname for any L name. I know a [name]Laura[/name] who goes as [name]Lulu[/name]… [name]Lucinda[/name] is lovely though, as is [name]Louisa[/name].

I love [name]Luella[/name]/[name]Louella[/name], but the fact that it rhymes with Cruella stops me from adding it to my list. I think [name]Lula[/name] is cute, and if that’s what you would call her all the time, I’d say use that on the birth certificate and forgo a longer name.

My favorite [name]Lou[/name] name is [name]Louise[/name]. I also like [name]Louisa[/name], [name]Lucille[/name], [name]Lucy[/name], and [name]Louisette[/name]. I’m not much of a fan of [name]Lula[/name] by itself, butit’s an adorable nickname.

Mine are [name]Lucy[/name], [name]Lucille[/name], [name]Louise[/name] and [name]Luna[/name]

My favourites are [name]Louisa[/name], [name]Lucy[/name] and [name]Lucia[/name]
