Hey, some more characters! These ones are interesting. [name_f]My[/name_f] main-main character is named Gwinmarius, and his best friends are commonly known as [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] and Rabbit, but thatās not the full story. [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] and Rabbit are actually named Barida and Baridus, because their parents couldnāt think of anything better. They got their nicknames (from Gwin) because of how confusing it was without them, and they originate from the way Rosieās face gets red when she talks (which is frequently) and Rabbitās skittish personality. However, theyāre all set up as historical figures, which means that they all get interesting suffixes. Gwinmarius is known to history as Gwinmarius the Subtle, which originated a joke because [name_u]Gwin[/name_u] is about the opposite of subtle, but then just got worked into the history, so that it was quite the surprise for the 21st century human sorceress who stumbled upon Gwinmarius the Subtleās far-from-subtle ghost. Rabbitās name is pretty similar, since heās called Baridus the [name_u]Fierce[/name_u], despite not being very fierce at all, and [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] is Barida the Masterful, because sheās the one who wrote all of this down, so she gets a suffix she actually wanted. Oh, and also the sorceress, whoās basically me, because she has to be, because of the weird way my brain works. Her working name is [name_f]Katriona[/name_f], although Iām open to suggestions.

Itās an idea Iām not super proud of, but itās unique. Itās basically a modern zombie-apocalypse story, with a twist of horses and romance.
[name_f]My[/name_f] main characters include a sibset Iām particularly proud of: [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] āCatā, [name_u]Cohen[/name_u], [name_f]Carly[/name_f], and [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] āLottieā. Thereās also [name_f]Calliope[/name_f] āCaliā and [name_u]Charlie[/name_u]. After I came up with the characters, and it was too late to change their names, I realized they all start with C.

In my newest WIP, my main character is [name_f]Davina[/name_f] [name_u]Prescott[/name_u], daughter of [name_f]Viola[/name_f] [name_u]Prescott[/name_u], and granddaughter of [name_f]Winona[/name_f] [name_u]Presley[/name_u] and [name_f]Gemma[/name_f] [name_u]Scott[/name_u].
On a side note, the family has a judgmental cat named [name_f]Wisteria[/name_f], a poetry loving raven called Nevermore, and a haunted victorian doll known as [name_f]Mary[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f].

Iām pretty proud of the names of my main characters in my Wings of [name_u]Fire[/name_u] fanfic:

Other WoF OCs include Shining (RainWing), Jewelflight (SkyWing-NightWing), and Parraya (IceWing).

Summary
A world Iāve been building where thereās monsters and magic, standard fantasy, but thereās magic that comes from crystals implanted in the hands or body that allow ease to hold magic since the crystal becomes a second heart, having itās own veins that the body attaches to it, allowing tiny crystal shards of magic to circulate within the body. Because the magic is so volatile often the children of crystal holders have a higher success rate of inhabiting a crystals because their parents shards are already within. This has lead to ānobilityā being bred out of who has the best chance to hold crystals, often past heroes whom showed success with them. This has led to the kingdom scientist expirementing on the nobility in secret alongside civilians, often risky and painful. This all to fight the monsters that appear.
Alphyn [name_f]Arcadia[/name_f]: āLord Arcadiaā Whatās left of the nobles in the [name_f]Arcadia[/name_f] territory, rumored by itās citizen that he died, and the orders are being carried out by someone else using his name because he never seems to appear in public after his parents and the grown ups left for war at 15. The children do not even know what him and his family looked like itās been so longā¦
Alphyn used to be a crystaled prodigy fighting monsters, that his tales were heard all around the land with the flick of a hat and swoop of a capeā¦in a book by his cousin. Now perceived to be a storybook hero. He was a great hero a young noble son of 14, with a purple crystal that shot āglassā embeded with magic, he could walk on it or break into a burst of magic and firey shards. [name_m]Even[/name_m] growing his own crystal swords and spears. He was arrogant and reckless until one day he fought a big monster that ripped off his arm with the crystal and so forth the veins that connected to it. The temple he was in crashed down and paralyzed him as he was on the ground trying to fish his crystal pieces out of his servered arm. Because he went in on his own no one was able to help him until nightfall.
Now 23 years old he looks nary a wizard; staying in his bed for years, when he finally went out the only clothing that could fit were those that the servants left behind.
When a crystal is broken or detached from the body; without the main crystal attached and circulating the veins, the crystals within his blood are now growing without a main one to regulate. Heās had crystals pierce through him, skin and thoat, slowly dying. Yet heās still Alphyn [name_f]Arcadia[/name_f], a normal crystal holder would have already died long ago. Wrapped in bandages, the crystals in him have enough power to make him float and teleport, he directed it too.
With a broken off purple blade in hand he now dedicates most of his time at home to researching how to put back together his crystal.
[name_m]Even[/name_m] when he does go out they think heās a ghost.
[name_m]Alphie[/name_m] [name_f]Arcadia[/name_f]: [name_m]Born[/name_m] after Alphynās detriment. 9 years old; yellow crystal; generic, even cartoony star covered wizard costume; the one heāll go outside for to protect; the next heir, able to be lord.
Alphyn [name_f]Arcadia[/name_f] and [name_m]Alphie[/name_m] [name_f]Arcadia[/name_f], wizard brothers. That was really really long sorry if itās too dark.
There werenāt even many names, the cousin is Alfalfa by the way. (^-^;

Iām still working on names for Aspenās āprinceā, [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] probably wonāt actually have a princess or prince but I havenāt decided that yet, the outcome for [name_u]Rune[/name_u] is unknown at the moment, and [name_u]Sorrel[/name_u] doesnāt really need a love interest. And Elliotās fairy godmother is pretty much just [name_u]Aspen[/name_u], while his stepmother and stepsisters probably wonāt be all that hard to name. As well as the other minor characters in these tales.

Iām doing something with elemental powers at the moment, currently theyāre called [name_f]Alizeh[/name_f] āLiziā [name_m]Pembroke[/name_m], [name_u]Sierra[/name_u] Fissure, [name_f]Marina[/name_f] [name_m]King[/name_m], and [name_f]Fiora[/name_f] [name_u]Day[/name_u] (bet you canāt guess who has what power. . .) but Iām looking for alternatives (about to make a post about that actually!)

[name_f]Fiora[/name_f] is elegant and beautiful and I love the name [name_u]Sierra[/name_u] because itās a fellow choir memberās name. [name_f]Alizeh[/name_f] is beautiful and fits perfectly with the last name.

[name_f]My[/name_f] sister and I decided to change [name_f]Solara[/name_f] and Lunaās names to [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] and [name_u]Willow[/name_u]. We thought their parents, being a wizarding couple who live near a forest, would name their kids after trees or plants. We also added a younger sister to their family, [name_f]Saffron[/name_f] (nicknamed Saffy).
