I’ve been seeing posts going around about grandparents’, parents’, and siblings’ names, so I thought I’d ask about the names of people’s niblings (nieces and nephews).
I have two nieces, sisters, named [name_f]Jocelynn[/name_f] [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] “[name_u]Jojo[/name_u]” and [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] [name_f]Clarice[/name_f]. They have an older half brother named [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] [name_m]Charles[/name_m]. I also have a nephew (their cousin) named Bastion [name_m]Albert[/name_m]… whose last name starts with S so his initials spell his nickname, [name_m]Bas[/name_m]. A couple I’m not overly fond of the spelling of, and I sort of wish [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] had a long version of her name, but overall their names are nice and suit them very well.
My “nephews” (cousin’s kids) are Park3r Jas0n and L0gan ? (He was just born end of [name_u]July[/name_u] and I still haven’t met him, she didn’t announce his middle name). I don’t really like their names although I do think L0gan is better, all are just too common/dated for my taste. Nothing too terrible!

All in all, I like most of their names. Dh’s family has a very Irish ln, hence all of the Irish names.
I only have one so far, another on the way.
Her name is [name_f]Octavia[/name_f] [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f]. We call her [name_u]Tavi[/name_u].
I have only one nephew so far. His name is Br@yden “[name_u]Bray[/name_u]” Anth0ny.
He wears it well! His name was supposed to be [name_u]Chase[/name_u], which I love, but he’s definitely a lil [name_u]Bray[/name_u]!
As a name nerd I was disappointed to find out his name literally just means “salmon” but it’s still a cute name lol

A 5yo called [name_u]Noah[/name_u] and a 3yo called [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] “[name_f]Bella[/name_f]”.
[name_m]Peter[/name_m], [name_f]Amanda[/name_f], [name_m]Matthew[/name_m] and [name_f]Amy[/name_f]. Sadly, [name_f]Amanda[/name_f] ceased to walk amongst us in [name_u]January[/name_u] at the age of 34.

I don’t have any nieces or nephews yet (and hopefully not for a long time, as my only sister is still young) but we enjoy talking names, and so I’ve learned that my nephews will probably be named [name_m]Felix[/name_m], [name_u]Finch[/name_u], and [name_m]Theodore[/name_m]. I love all of those names so hopefully she’ll stick with them haha. I’d love to be an auntie to little [name_m]Felix[/name_m], [name_u]Finn[/name_u] and [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] someday. (can’t remember her girl’s names atm)

Hello there! I have two nephews thus far, and their names are [name_m]Ethan[/name_m] [name_m]Mark[/name_m] and [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u].
I don’t think there was any family significance for [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u], but “[name_m]Mark[/name_m]” was the name of my dad and my sister-in-law’s father!
I don’t have technical nieces and nephews, but 2 of my older cousins have kids and they’re kind of considered all of the grandkids’ nieces and nephews (because they’re the great-grandkids).
