DH’s job means we get a few animals passing through our home for a while but these are the current permanent residents.
We have a Dalmation called [name_f]Poppy[/name_f], a Lab/lurcher mix called [name_m]Fitz[/name_m], a [name_m]King[/name_m] [name_m]Charles[/name_m] Spaniel called [name_f]Lottie[/name_f] and a little three legged cat called [name_f]Maelys[/name_f].
We also have two foster kittens staying with us for a few weeks until they are strong enough to be rehomed they were named by the shelter and were called [name_f]Willow[/name_f] and [name_f]Luna[/name_f]. We often look after/foster animals especially as my husband is a vet and often brings home animals that need caring over night which is how we got [name_f]Maelys[/name_f].
We have two Bengal cats called [name_f]Bette[/name_f] [name_m]Davis[/name_m] and [name_u]Joan[/name_u] [name_m]Crawford[/name_m]; we also have [name_f]Stella[/name_f], a cockapoo, I named her [name_f]Stella[/name_f] because I really wanted to yell “[name_f]STELLA[/name_f]!” across the park like in a Streetcar Named Desire.
I have 2 dogs. Tinsel I named because I was 7 at the time and it was almost [name_u]Christmas[/name_u]. Our samoyed was named [name_m]Buddy[/name_m] sort of as a default, because none of us could agree on a more creative name. He’s officially registered as [name_m]Buddy[/name_m] [name_m]Barkley[/name_m], because my dad used to call him primarily [name_m]Barkley[/name_m].
We have a cat named Figaro, after the Disney kitten, and my old cat was named [name_f]Daisy[/name_f].
We have 2 cats. Kirjava “[name_m]Javi[/name_m]” Mrs. [name_m]Noris[/name_m] and Pantalaimon “[name_m]Pan[/name_m]” Crookshanks. I know all you book worms like me will totally get these references 
I have an 18 month old black and white Cockapoo named [name_u]Dexter[/name_u] (after the tv shows [name_u]Dexter[/name_u]'s Laboratory & [name_u]Dexter[/name_u]) and an 8 year old tabby cat called [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f] (we adopted her from the cat home, her name was Tamba and when I saw her all I could think of was that she looked like [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f] Twitchet). my tabby cat’s name is ginny (short for virginia), her siblings were all named after U.S states and ginny just fit. my african pygmy hedgehog is raya, don’t know why i chose it but it short n’ cute.

I had a dog I had since I was 7 (he died in 2015 and i just turned 23). His name was [name_u]Dakota[/name_u] and his twin sister’s name was [name_f]Dixie[/name_f] but that was my step grandmothers dog before she passed away (and I think the dog did too, but I don’t see my step grandpa anymore).
My first dog’s name was [name_m]Kipper[/name_m] (from the cartoon [name_m]Kipper[/name_m] the dog).
My mom had two birds throughout my life when I was younger named [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] and [name_u]Harley[/name_u].
And I had two mice named salt and pepper (from blue’s clues).
