[name_m]Just[/name_m] curious what your thoughts are on [name_u]Taylor[/name_u] for a girl?
IMHO — it’s fine, but I don’t particularly love it. Because I knew several Taylors growing up, the name feels a bit worn. I do like the nickname [name_u]Tay[/name_u] though.
To me, [name_u]Taylor[/name_u] is a pretty popular name for a little girl. I have met quite a few over the years, although most of the [name_u]Taylor[/name_u]'s I have met are probably late teens or in their early 20s by now.
I personally have never liked the name [name_u]Taylor[/name_u]. I either think of a toddler following a big sibling around, or someone hemming my pants. I never saw the appeal of [name_u]Taylor[/name_u], but lots of people seem to. This is just my opinion though, if you like, go for it.
It’s dated. It’s a surname in my family. I never understood the appeal of using it as a first name.
LOL well it’s not a winner on NB I guess
It’s just a guilty pleasure of mine! I’d probably use it on a boy but I kind of like it for a girl too. No more babies to name though for me
Thanks for the replies!
I much prefer it on a boy!
I like it! I’ve known a couple growing up…all girls (although I do like it on a boy as well). To me, it has a peppy, cheerful sound
I only like it for a boy.
I find [name_u]Taylor[/name_u] to be dated. I grew up with numerous girl [name_u]Taylor[/name_u]'s now all in their middle 20s. Also knew a few boy [name_u]Taylor[/name_u]'s.
I dislike it as a given name, especially on a girl.
[name_u]Love[/name_u] it on a boy. I find it dated and unnatractve on a girl
