What can Rory be nickname for?

I know of [name_f]Lorelai[/name_f] since [name_m]Gilmore[/name_m] girls but I don’t think it’s “it”. Any suggestions?

[name_f]Aurora[/name_f]/[name_f]Aurore[/name_f] is the first one I think of for [name_u]Rory[/name_u].

Maybe [name_u]Rosario[/name_u] or [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] nn [name_u]Rory[/name_u]?

I second [name_f]Aurora[/name_f]!

[name_f]Aurora[/name_f] and some other [name_f]Rose[/name_f] names? [name_f]Rosetta[/name_f], [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f], [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f], [name_u]Rosario[/name_u]? [name_f]Ro[/name_f] is nice nn as well.

Apart from the ones already suggested, maybe [name_f]Oriana[/name_f], [name_f]Dorothea[/name_f], [name_f]Coraline[/name_f], [name_f]Honora[/name_f], [name_f]Annora[/name_f], [name_f]Isadora[/name_f], [name_f]Theodora[/name_f]? Not necessarily intuitive but could work.

My first thought was [name_f]Caroline[/name_f].

I like [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] with nn [name_u]Rory[/name_u].

Another post made me think of [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f], which has some of the spunk of [name_u]Rory[/name_u]. I also want to second the suggestion of Dorothea.

[name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_f]Ramona[/name_f]?

I think I saw a reply to a thread a few days ago that suggested “[name_f]Ro[/name_f]” in the first name and “[name_f]Ree[/name_f]” in the middle, like [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f] – [name_f]Ro[/name_f]salind Aurelia. It’s a bit of a roundabout, but it’s definitely an option! You could even use something with both sounds in the middle. Using options already given: Caroline Aurelia

[name_f]Veronica[/name_f] was the first name that popped into my head. It isn’t the most intuitive nickname (ie all the sounds are in there), but I still think it works. I really like the suggestion of [name_f]Caroline[/name_f]. [name_u]Rory[/name_u] is an unexpected nickname for [name_f]Caroline[/name_f], but I think it’s great. [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] and [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] are also pretty intuitive suggestions.

I know an [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] “[name_u]Rory[/name_u]” but I also love the idea of [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f]! Otherwise pretty much any name with “ro”/“or” in it could work if you’re OK with stretching a bit.
