Other than [name]Theodore[/name]? The thing is, I adore [name]Teddy[/name], but I only like [name]Theodore[/name]. I wouldn’t want to give my son a name I don’t love simply for the nickname. Plus, I hate [name]Theo[/name]. Any other suggestions?

The only other I can think of is [name]Edward[/name]. I’m sure there are other names someone else can come up with, but [name]Teddy[/name] is a legitimate nickname for [name]Edward[/name]. And I see [name]Edward[/name] is in your signature 
Thing is, [name]Teddy[/name] is so wrapped into the term [name]Teddy[/name] [name]Bear[/name] now that you might be able to get away with it with many different names. Like my son, he looks like [name]Winnie[/name] the Pooh. Could I call him [name]Teddy[/name] because of that? Sure! But I think that if you look for names with [name]Ed[/name] in it, that’s a good place to start too. [name]Edmund[/name] is my favorite [name]Ed[/name]- name. Others: [name]Edison[/name], [name]Edgar[/name], [name]Edwin[/name]. Actually, I really like [name]Edison[/name] too!
[name]Edward[/name] is the only name I can think of (apart from [name]Theodore[/name]).

I like [name]Edmund[/name] the best of the the [name]Ed[/name]-names. And I love [name]Edmund[/name] much more than [name]Theodore[/name].
