I know it comes from [name_f]Wilhelmina[/name_f] and I’ve also seen people use it for [name_f]Willow[/name_f], [name_f]Abigail[/name_f] and [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f], but does anyone have any other ideas?
I think you could also probably use it for [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f]/[name_f]Isabella[/name_f] names.
I love the name [name_u]Billie[/name_u] for a girl but wouldn’t want to use it as a legal name because it’s too different from my usual style.
(Please don’t comment on this post just to say you “can’t see [name_u]Billie[/name_u] on a girl”)
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]–via [name_f]Ellie[/name_f]. Also the only [name_u]Billie[/name_u] I know is an [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], so that’s clearly a solid option.
Personally to have a nickname like [name_u]Billie[/name_u], I would say the name should have [name_m]Wil[/name_m] or [name_m]Bil[/name_m] in it somewhere or at least a B!
I like the suggestions of [name_f]Sybil[/name_f] nn [name_u]Billie[/name_u]
[name_m]How[/name_m] about (sorry they may be a little out there!):
[name_f]Twila[/name_f]
[name_f]Jubilee[/name_f] (has the billie sound in it which is a bonus in my mind)
[name_f]Nabilah[/name_f]
