I knew a girl named Indica once, which I think sounds beautiful. For some reason though I can’t find anything about the name anywhere on the internet, maybe it was something her parents made-up?

EDIT: I just googled Indica and actually found that it’s a species of cannabis and the latin word for India. Oh dear.

Could also be used for (trying not to repeat) [name]Winifred[/name], [name]Belinda[/name], [name]Linden[/name], [name]Arminda[/name], [name]Romilda[/name], [name]Imelda[/name], [name]Dorinda[/name], [name]Jacinda[/name], [name]Lucinda[/name], [name]Miranda[/name], [name]Kalinda[/name], or [name]Tamarind[/name].
If we have another girl, we’re planning on naming her [name]Lucinda[/name] nn:[name]Indie[/name]. Not sure why, can’t put my finger on it, but I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Indie[/name] as a nickname. We also considered [name]Jacinda[/name] with nn [name]Indie[/name].

As we too love [name]Indi/name We were considering [name]Indigo[/name] for our baby girl due [name]Jan[/name] 2012 but then we googled “[name]Indigo[/name] Children”…I also like Indica but the drug connection is concerning. Indica is a scientific plant specification (hence the drug). So we are thinking Indika ([name]Indi[/name]) spelling change…she would be named after the ocean blue morning glory flower Ipomoea indica - Oceanblue Morning-glory, Koali 'Awa, Blue Dawn Flower, Blue Morningglory, Blue Morning Glory - Hawaiian Plants and Tropical Flowers
