What could Reggie be a nickname for?

All I can think of is [name]Reginald[/name]. Also, what other boy names would you consider ‘spunky’?

I am really struggling with what else it would work for. Maybe [name]Richard[/name] nn [name]Richie[/name] could get altered to [name]Reggie[/name], but it’s a long stretch.
[name]Reginald[/name] is related to lots of names like [name]Reynold[/name], [name]Reynolds[/name] etc, so you could argue for it there, maybe especially with a G middle name. [name]Reynold[/name] [name]George[/name]. Go to the page for [name]Reginald[/name] there are a few other suggestions.

[name]Regis[/name] would work but is very [name]Philbin[/name].

[name]Ronald[/name] is apparently a form of [name]Reginald[/name] (?) but the [name]Ron[/name] nn is so much more obvious.

I can sort of see it for [name]Rex[/name] but [name]Rex[/name] is already so short.

I think [name]Reggie[/name] is so cute. I think it works well as a nickname for [name]Eldredge[/name].

The first things I thought of were [name]Reginald[/name] and [name]Regis[/name] (love [name]Regis[/name]!) I also like the idea of an RE- name with a G middle name.
