I really love the name! my cousin’s name is Francesca, but everyone calls her Frankie.

I love it. [name_f]My[/name_f] maternal grandmother re-named herself [name_f]Francesca[/name_f] when she was an adult (her name was Thelma) so I associate it with her- romantic, pretty, European, sentimental. I thought about using it as an honor name with the nicknames [name_u]Fran[/name_u], [name_u]Frankie[/name_u], [name_f]Chessie[/name_f], or Chesca.

i love it, its nice that it is recognizably italian, which is such a lovely association, but i wouldnt assume someone named francesca is italian. i thought for a long time that i would name a future daughter molly francesca, and i still think its a gorgeous name.

[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Francesca[/name_f]! I tend to love long flowy names like this more in the middle so they can’t be shortened!

I love it! It’s my favorite out of all the [name_f]France[/name_f] names. The only nn I like for it is Chesca though; I’m not a fan of [name_u]Frankie[/name_u] and [name_u]Fran[/name_u] but that’s just my personal taste
