Thoughts on Ingrid?
I like it! It’s sweet, strong, and fresh. I find it very friendly sounding.
I love it! It’s fresh, but recognizable, but refreshing and uncommon enough where she won’t be the fifth [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f]
It’s my daughter’s name so I love it more than any other name on earth
It’s beautiful, elegant, strong and historical. The Scandinavian roots are important to me but [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f] works perfectly well internationally. It totally hits the sweet spot of being familiar but not popular.
For me [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f] is perfect
[name_f]Ingrid[/name_f] is so elegant, rich in history and feels classic. Very pretty
Really loved reading @Iris_Claire response made me smile!
It has a very unappealing sound to my ears But I’ve never known anyone with the name [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f] so that may be why
Sparky and quirky
I like [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f]! It feels very sweet and outdoorsy!
[name_f]Ingrid[/name_f] feels bright & warm & strong–I really like it! I also appreciate that it’s familiar but still feels unexpected.
Super sweet and cheerful !!
@Iris_Claire your daughter is so lucky to have such a beautiful name !
[name_u]Love[/name_u] it! One of my very favorites.
I love how you talk about the name. What a fortunate daughter to have a mum with such fabulous taste. [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f] is beautiful, and one of my favourites

I love it. It’s beautiful, classic and feminine but frills-free. Sophisticated with a steely strength. Widely known but never overused. To me it sounds like the name of a capable, intelligent, independent girl/woman who is assertive but kind. I only have good things to say about [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f]!
Personally, I slightly prefer the sound of [name_f]Astrid[/name_f] but [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f] feels so much less trendy, and has better nickname potential (Inga, Indie), although it doesn’t need one.
I never really liked it. It’s not at all my style.
The sound is a bit harsh to me but its one that I think could actually grow on me if I heard it more. I think it has vintage, timeless charm!
I love [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f]. It gives me rolling hills and fields of wild flower vibes,
[name_u]Love[/name_u] it! [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f] has a beautifully clear, strong, & somehow “snowy” sound to it.
I love [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f]. It’s feminine but strong at the same time. Also I love the nickname [name_u]Indie[/name_u].
I love Ingrid! It’s so beautiful. I love that it ends with a consonant, isn’t overly feminine, sounds serious and strong, but is also warm, quick, and welcoming. Such an excellent name. I’d be over the moon to meet an Ingrid!
