What do you think about the name Lenka?

Thoughts on Lenka?

I like it! It could stand well on its own or as a nickname for Madlenka.

it’s nice! i like on its own or it as a nn for Helenka and Milenka

I don’t mind it. It’s got a good zesty kick to it that I like.

[name_f]Kinda[/name_f] cute and sparky!!

Cool name.

I prefer it as a nickname for the something in the Slavic [name_f]Helen[/name_f] family. [name_f]Helena[/name_f], [name_f]Helenka[/name_f], [name_f]Lena[/name_f], [name_f]Yelena[/name_f], etc.

Hits me as a nickname, like Russian/Ukrainian, for full name [name_f]Elena[/name_f]. [name_f]Elena[/name_f] > [name_f]Elenka[/name_f] > Lenka.
I wouldn’t consider it as a real full name but it’s cute as a nickname:)

i like lenka! i believe that it’s a czech name popular in the 90s, but it does have a very nickname-y feel. helenka “lenka” or yelena “lenka” would be adorable!

i’ve never heard it before but it’s really nice! looks like a fresh lexa!

This is a typically Czech/Slovak name. It is fairly common in those countries (although not as much now as it used to be) but not used anywhere else. If someone introduced themselves as Lenka I would automatically assume they have ties to Slovakia or the Czech Republic.

If people have heard of this name before, it’ll probably be due to the Australian singer Lenka.

I’m not a huge fan personally but I don’t think it’s a bad name.

I know it’s not exactly the same name, but I’ve met an [name_f]Alenka[/name_f] who is from Slovenia.
I think Lenka is a nice name, but I’d probably be surprised to see it on someone who is not Eastern European.

I like it.

I’m a big fan of [name_m]German[/name_m] and Russian nicknames being first names. It’s cute to me, personally.

Aww this is a cute name!! I knew an older serbian lady with the name Lenka (I believe her name wasn’t short for anything), and her husbands names was Ljubomir “Ljubo” (Ljubomir meaning love & peace) and I have nothing but positive associates with the name Lenka!! I believe it was fairly popular in a lot of Slavic countries years ago; but not much anymore. I’d be surprised but happy to meet a young Lenka.
