I really like it! It’s short, funky, easy to pronounce. And the nickname [name_f]Meg[/name_f] is just :heart::heart:

I’ve actually always quite liked it! It’s never made it’s way onto my list for the simple fact that I have a cousin with the name, but it definitely would have at some point in time if that weren’t the case! And the nickname options are really lovely as well, with [name_f]Meg[/name_f] and [name_f]May[/name_f] and even possibly [name_u]Anne[/name_u] or [name_f]Annie[/name_f]! [name_f]My[/name_f] cousin actually goes by [name_f]May[/name_f] occasionally :relaxed:

[name_f]Megan[/name_f] should feel dated to me, but for some reason it doesn’t at all. I’d be thrilled to meet a baby [name_f]Megan[/name_f].

It’s my middle name and I’ve always liked it. I love the nick name [name_f]Meg[/name_f] and considered going by that before I found another nick name I liked. To me it feels like it won’t go out of style and can be worn by girls with a variety of personalities. Solid choice!

I personally think [name_f]Megan[/name_f] is an incredibly popular and simple name, It flows nice but I personally feel it’s too overused, there are many pretty alternatives to megan, even spelling variants:

My name is Megan, and I think it is a wonderful name! It is very versatile as well, with the nickname Meg (and I have always gone by May with my family, which I think is another sweet option.) I know a lot of people find it dated, but its ties with Margaret and it’s use in Ireland and Scotland make it more classic imo. I definitely think Megan is ready for a comeback!

I really like [name_f]Megan[/name_f]! I think it’s time for it to come back, and it would definitely be on my list if we didn’t have a family member with that name.

I love [name_f]Megan[/name_f]. I agree with others that it “should” feel dated, but I think it’s eternally youthful and I adore the nickname [name_f]Meg[/name_f].

I also think this spelling is the best. People got overly creative with it and came up with Welsh-looking spellings that weren’t genuine. [name_f]Megan[/name_f] is lovely just the way it is.
