What do you think about the name Salvador?

Thoughts on Salvador?

It’s not really my style but I think it’s quite nice. It has a simple pronunciation but is still uncommon. I also like how it has nickname opportunities.

Coming from Miami, where we have
a lot of Spanish speakers, Salvador
is not an uncommon name. However,
is not so average that you will encounter
this name every where you go. I personally
think it is ok. I see nothing wrong if
you would like to use it or know someone
who is interested in using it.

I love it! It feels very dashing (though it isn’t what I’d call my usual style), and I’ve never met a [name_m]Salvadore[/name_m]. It also reminds me of [name_m]Salvador[/name_m] Dali, a positive association for me since I enjoy his art. Would love to meet a Salvador(e) someday! I also love the nickname potential nickname [name_u]Sal[/name_u].

Very strong and ancient (in a good way) also gives me tropical visions for some reason…

I must admit I do prefer the Italian [name_m]Salvatore[/name_m] though
