I’ve stumbled across this name. I guess it’s another alternate spelling for [name]Aniya[/name]. Interesting spelling, different. Thoughts? What do you ladies think could I use it?
It is nice. I like [name]Amaya[/name] too.
Any other thoughts?
Prefer [name]Amaya[/name], something about that ‘n’ throws me off. But it’s a perfectly sound name. Very sweet, feminine, and beautiful.
[name]Anaya[/name] is nice and would fit in well with the current trends of A-heavy names, but [name]Amaya[/name] is more familiar. I prefer [name]Naya[/name] to [name]Anaya[/name].
There used to be a girl who attended my kids school named [name]Anaya[/name], spelled just like that…pn like [name]Amaya[/name] except with the “n”. So I have heard it before, and its nice.
[name]Anaya[/name] is a relatively common Spanish last name. It’s close to the very cool Mexican name [name]Anahi[/name]. It’s also very much influenced by the African-American naming tradition where the ending sound -ayah is very popular. It’s pretty but honestly it’s an invention. I like the more standard -ayah names, like [name]Mariah[/name], [name]Sariah[/name], or [name]Amaya[/name]. But if you want something really different, take a look at [name]Anahi[/name]. It’s pronounced an-eye-ee (the H is silent).
Anaiah was also a male personage in the Old Testament, btw.
I think it’s cute, but may be confused as [name]Amaya[/name]. [name]Do[/name] you possibly like Anara? Not sure of the meaning, but it’s kind of cute.
