Is it a good name for a girl? I love this name, but I don’t know if i can call my girl like this
Hmm, this one is hard for me. It’s pretty in theory, but I just think she’ll have to spell it and repeat it ALL the time. What nn would you use? [name]Art[/name] or [name]Artie[/name] is pretty traditionally masculine although I guess a girl could pull it off well enough. [name]Missy[/name]? Temy? Sia?
I can see this is pretty nice in a middle name spot, though, especially if the first and/or last names are relatively simple.
[name]Anastasia[/name] seems to hit a lot of the same notes and be much more familiar.
If she ever lives near [name]Washington[/name] DC, this is the name of a lake around there. [name]Do[/name] you know it?
All best!
I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Artemisia[/name]. Feminine, but still substantive. So many nicknames, too. [name]Artie[/name] and [name]Art[/name], of course, but also Temi, [name]Missy[/name], and Misia.
I think it’s cool, but then I love over the top feminissima names with historical, artistic or literary roots. I’m not sure of “[name]Art[/name]” for a nn, but this is a great name. I might suggest [name]Ari[/name], another masculine yet usable nn.
I rather like it, but it does cry out for a nickname. Maybe [name]Tess[/name] or [name]Tessa[/name].
This name, [name]IMO[/name], is too much to really use on a person. It’s very heavy, and sounds like a sneezing grandma to me. But I agree with the other posters that is in need of a nickname! [name]Remy[/name]? [name]Ari[/name]? [name]Missy[/name]?
I agree with [name]Nicole[/name]. Although it is very pretty in theory - I don’t think it would work on a real person. It is very heavy…she’ll never be able to introduce herself just once!
It’s pretty and interesting, but I agree with pps that it’s way too much name. Sorry! Jesba suggested [name]Anastasia[/name], which I think is a really lovely alternative.
