What do you think of the name [name_m]Bram[/name_m]?
Previously, it was on my list as a nickname for [name_m]Abraham[/name_m], but I realized that the nickname is the only reason that [name_m]Abraham[/name_m] was still on my list. I really don’t love the name [name_m]Abraham[/name_m] in the full and I would only ever call him [name_m]Bram[/name_m]. My only worry is that [name_m]Bram[/name_m] seems a little too childish for an adult. What do you think, should I go for [name_m]Abraham[/name_m], or [name_m]Bram[/name_m]?
Also, what sibling names would you use with [name_m]Bram[/name_m]?
What about [name_m]Abram[/name_m]? I prefer [name_m]Abraham[/name_m] to [name_m]Bram[/name_m] even if you just call him [name_m]Bram[/name_m] because of wearability and options it will allow him later in life
I love [name_m]Bram[/name_m] so much! I like it as a stand-alone name, personally, but if I had to go with a full form I’d pick [name_m]Bramwell[/name_m]. I don’t think [name_m]Bram[/name_m] sounds childish on an adult at all.
I love [name_m]Bram[/name_m] as a nickname and I second the suggestion of [name_m]Abram[/name_m].
I know an adult named [name_m]Bram[/name_m] who wears it well, and just assumed it was his full name so it doesn’t feel like a nickname to me. I would go straight to [name_m]Bram[/name_m] especially if that is what you plan to call him. I really like it.
I love [name_m]Bram[/name_m] on its own - it feels literary and cool and also short like other names on trend at the moment like [name_u]Jude[/name_u] or [name_u]Beau[/name_u].

[name_m]Bram[/name_m] doesn’t seem childish at all to me, I actually have a harder time imagining it on a child than on an adult. I think it’s a great choice!
My main association with [name_m]Bram[/name_m] is [name_m]Bram[/name_m] Stoker (author of Dracula). I think it would work fine as a standalone name. [name_m]Abe[/name_m] would sound odd as an official name, but I think [name_m]Bram[/name_m] is fine.
I second that to me it sounds more adult than childlike.
I really like it as a full name. I’m a big fan of shorter names and solid nickname names in general.

[name_m]Bram[/name_m] just makes me think of [name_m]Bram[/name_m] Stoker. I didnt even know it was a nickname for [name_m]Abraham[/name_m], it works perfectly fine on it’s own. It also reminds me of [name_u]Bran[/name_u], another name which needn’t be a nickname
I personally like it, although I do feel the vampire association. haha. I think it can be a standalone name, but if you want a “fuller” name, I like the suggestion of [name_m]Abram[/name_m]. I don’t think it sounds childish.
I also like the name [name_m]Brandt[/name_m], which is similar and stands on its own.
I think of it more as a nn but I also typically love longer names, especially [name_m]Abraham[/name_m] so that could be why! [name_m]Abram[/name_m] sounds really great and could be a nice compromise. However, I could see [name_m]Bram[/name_m] on an adult so honestly, I say go for it if you love it!!!
