For a middle name. I’ve never seen anyone talk about this name here before and wonder if it is usable or not.
I like it for the middle. It seems very trendy and new, and is sure to rise in the next few years thanks to the Greek God trend. My first thought is of little cupids and hearts.
I much prefer [name_f]Eris[/name_f]. Still associated with a Greek [name_f]Goddess[/name_f], but also a planet. Very cute!

I guess if you really love it you could use it as a middle, but I really don’t think it’s suitable as a first.

I love the soft, simple sound, and the look is gorgeous! I was actually thinking of this just the other day along with Erato. Both are usable as middles in my opinion ^^
Fine with me. I don’t get the erotica/erotic association at all. Also while not being trendy or common, I think its on trend which isn’t a bad thing.

[name_m]Eros[/name_m] is a psychology term for Erotic [name_u]Love[/name_u], one of the ‘types’ of love.

Hmm, I suppose it might be OK in the middle, but a name synonymous with erotic love is a bit of a weird choice to bestow on a baby.
[name_f]Eos[/name_f] (the Greek [name_m]Titan[/name_m] of the dawn) is a lovely option for a girl, and other similar-sounding boys’ names that spring to mind are [name_m]Aries[/name_m], [name_m]Erastus[/name_m] (or its variants Erastos, Erasto, Erast) and [name_m]Erasmus[/name_m]. [name_m]Erastus[/name_m] and [name_m]Erasmus[/name_m] both mean “beloved”, which strikes me as a more desirable meaning.
Lol yeah, I am well aware of the psychology term for erotic love. There is no way I’d ever want to use this name up front.

It’s a very sensual name, especially if you know the meaning of it. I feel like it is a little feminine in a way (not sure why, but that is the sense that it gives off).
