I’ve never really seen [name_f]Esther[/name_f] as an old-lady name.
Probably because, 1) I never really knew any old ladies with the name, 2) I knew the Biblical story of [name_f]Esther[/name_f], 3) I knew a few [name_f]Esther[/name_f]'s, some young and some middle aged. So it’s always felt like a classic to me. If an uncommon classic.
I really love the idea of [name_f]Esther[/name_f] nn [name_f]Tess[/name_f]. It’s a beautiful name with a lovely meaning and great namesakes. I don’t really see any negatives to it.
