I like [name]Jeremy[/name] because of the various cute/cool nicknames it has: [name]Jer[/name], [name]Jem[/name], Jemy, [name]Remy[/name]…
What do you think? [name]Do[/name] you like it? [name]Do[/name] you think it’s dated?

I used to love [name]Jeremy[/name]. I thought it was a perfect mixture of cool and classic. Now… it just feels dated to me. Sorry. I do think [name]Remy[/name] is a cute nn for it, though!
[name]Jeremy[/name] can sound too close to “germy” for me. I didn’t think “dated” the instant I read it, but if I were to see the name without knowing much more about the person, I would assume he was in his late 20s to 30s. Go for it if you love it though!
I think [name]Jeremy[/name] is still a great name and has many nickname options! Personally I’m a fan of [name]Remy[/name] or [name]Jer[/name]. You could also use [name]Jeremiah[/name] though too.
Yes, it is dated. But I like it, and I love [name]Jem[/name] (I’ve also thought about it as a nn for [name]Benjamin[/name].) I think it’s a dated name that still works- like [name]Teresa[/name] or [name]Samantha[/name].
I like the name, but personally find it to be a little dated. The nickname [name]Jem[/name] is adorable, though (and I believe that was [name]Scout[/name]'s brother’s real name in To Kill A Mockingbird)!
I like [name]Jeremy[/name]. It may sound dated to some but it’s around #142 right now in popularity so obv. it’s still being used. Within a few years, the popularity of [name]Josiah[/name] and [name]Jeremiah[/name] (#52!) may make [name]Jeremy[/name] sound fresh again. I knew a great kid named [name]Jeremiah[/name] that grew up to be a surgeon. I knew an adult [name]Jeremy[/name] from [name]England[/name] that was very nice and really good looking. So I have positive feelings towards both.
[name]Jeremy[/name] is getting to be more dated, but it’s still a nice name. although I prefer [name]Jerome[/name], and dislike [name]Jerry[/name]
I love the name [name]Jeremy[/name], I don’t think it’s dated at all.
I think it is very dated, I am a teacher and I don’t know one under 25… The name is not very appealing to me and the dated feeling only makes it worse. It just seems very played out. I think [name]Jeremiah[/name] is a better alternative.
