Hey, all…I’m not pregnant, but like most I love making lists of favorite names! When I do have children, I am dead-set on [name]Henry[/name] Albus and [name]Leo[/name] [name]Atticus[/name] for my boys. For girls, I’m having more trouble!
I really want at least one name to be literary- see Albus and [name]Atticus[/name]-and the other can be whatever. I don’t like really popular names (though no matter how popular [name]Henry[/name] becomes, I’m using it!!) and tend to lean more towards classic names, and I’m really into mythology!
Please let me know what you think of my favorites & give some mn options??
[name]Juliet[/name]- probably my [name]FAVORITE[/name] favorite. I adore [name]Romeo[/name] + [name]Juliet[/name], and it fits my literary criteria! =)
[name]Eleanor[/name] (nn [name]Ellie[/name])- I always end up coming back to [name]Eleanor[/name]! I’ve never known one, but it is so refined and beautiful, and I love [name]Ellie[/name] on a little girl.
[name]Cosima[/name]- my family is pretty into space. My uncle worked with NASA and AeroSpace and we’re all into nebulas and stars and all that. Plus, it’s absolutely beautiful!
[name]Lucy[/name]- The Chronicles of [name]Narnia[/name] are my some of my favorite books, and [name]Lucy[/name] has always been my favorite character (after Aslan). However, I know so many people that name their dog [name]Lucy[/name], and it bugs me =(
[name]Penelope[/name]- I’ve loved this name since we read part of “The Odyssey” in English. However, I HATE the nn [name]Penny[/name]- adore [name]Nelle[/name] & [name]Poppy[/name], though. There’s also just something about it that bugs me, but I can’t put my finger on it!
