[name]Waverley[/name]- I prefer this name spelled [name]Waverly[/name]. I don’t care for the sound, but I love the meaning.
[name]Wren[/name]- Of all the bird names, this might be my favorite. It’s lovely without being too cute.
[name]Charlotte[/name] nn [name]Lottie[/name]- Gorgeous, of course!
[name]Penelope[/name]- I don’t understand the appeal of this name at all.
[name]Amelie[/name] nn [name]Ellie[/name]- Quite sweet, however I’m sure it will be mistaken for [name]Emily[/name] all the time.
[name]Isla[/name] / [name]Isra[/name] (Eye-ruh)- Gorgeous! [name]Isra[/name] is identical to Ira, which I hate.
[name]Maeve[/name]- Oh, so pretty! Makes [name]Mae[/name] feel fuller and less plain.
[name]Elizabeth[/name]- Absolutely beautiful! I [name]LOVE[/name] the nn [name]Libby[/name].
[name]Lucy[/name]- Eh. Plain, however I adore [name]Luciana[/name].
[name]Matilda[/name]- See [name]Penelope[/name].
[name]Audrey[/name] nn [name]Ree[/name]- Very cute!
[name]Josephine[/name] nn [name]Josie[/name]- I like [name]Josephine[/name], but [name]Josie[/name] isn’t very pretty. I think [name]JoJo[/name] is so cute, though!
[name]Mila[/name] (mee-luh)- I prefer [name]Milena[/name], but [name]Mila[/name] is lovely too! The Kunis association is a plus.
[name]Adeline[/name] (add-uh-line)- I love this, but to be more unique I prefer Adelise (add-uh-lees).
[name]Paloma[/name]- Quite lovely!
[name]Elodie[/name]- Beautiful.
[name]Caroline[/name]- A pretty classic! Reminds me of a smart businesswoman.
[name]Margaret[/name] nn [name]Maisie[/name]- Nice, but not really fabulous.
[name]Delilah[/name]- [name]Love[/name] it! So pretty!
[name]Madeleine[/name]- Such a swet, lovely name.
[name]Hanna[/name]- I think it looks a little odd without the -h. Nice name, though.
[name]Elowen[/name]- Very pretty, with a melodic, lilting sound.
[name]Mairead[/name]- This name will guarantee LOTS of mispronunciations.

[name]Rhys[/name]- I like this a lot!
[name]Gaelan[/name]- Sounds like something from an Arthurian [name]Legend[/name], like Sir [name]Gaelan[/name]. A little too dramatic.
[name]Sawyer[/name]- Nice.
[name]Kieran[/name]- I think this is a little feminine because it sounds so similar to [name]Karen[/name].
[name]Declan[/name]- This is a really handsome name!

I like these names-

And for boys-

Great list!

[name]Waverley[/name] - nms, and seems a bit trendy. I think it’s better when spelled without that second E - it looks more streamlined and neater as [name]Waverly[/name]
[name]Wren[/name] - I actually really like this for a boy…I guess it’s okay for a girl.
[name]Charlotte[/name] nn [name]Lottie[/name] - So cute! I know [name]Charlotte[/name] is getting quite popular, though.
[name]Penelope[/name] - Nice, but also getting more popular
[name]Amelie[/name] nn [name]Ellie[/name] - I like it, but think people will always hear “[name]Emily[/name]”
[name]Isla[/name] / [name]Isra[/name] (Eye-ruh) - [name]Isla[/name] is pretty, [name]Isra[/name] = [name]Ira[/name], so that’s no good for a girl, imo.
[name]Maeve[/name] - I’ve never liked this, seems like an old lady name to me, but I know many Berries like it.
[name]Elizabeth[/name] - Nice and classic.
[name]Lucy[/name] - I love it. A bit popular, though. My favorite name combo of all time is [name]Lucy[/name] [name]Clementine[/name]
[name]Matilda[/name] - [name]ADORE[/name]. [name]One[/name] of my absolute favorites.
[name]Audrey[/name] nn [name]Ree[/name] - [name]Audrey[/name] is okay…I don’t love the sound, but I love [name]Audrey[/name] Hepburn, so that’s a good association. Not loving [name]Ree[/name].
[name]Josephine[/name] nn [name]Josie[/name] - I don’t love [name]Josie[/name], but I love [name]Josephine[/name].
[name]Mila[/name] (mee-luh) - Prefer it pronounced MY-la, but I know that’s not usually how it is.
[name]Adeline[/name] (add-uh-line) - Probably what our baby will be if she’s a girl - [name]LOVE[/name].
[name]Paloma[/name] - I like it! Wish my husband did, too.
[name]Elodie[/name] - I think the French pronunciation is nice, but I don’t really like it when it just rhymes with [name]Melody[/name].
[name]Caroline[/name] - Classic, but I’ve never been a big fan.
[name]Margaret[/name] nn [name]Maisie[/name] - Same as [name]Caroline[/name].
[name]Delilah[/name] - It’s okay.
[name]Madeleine[/name] - [name]Lovely[/name], but only if pronounced mad-a-line, NOT lin.
[name]Hanna[/name] - It’s okay…nothing too exciting. Prefer it with the final H.
[name]Elowen[/name] - Pretty.
[name]Mairead[/name] - Not sure of the pronunciation, and I think that would be a problem (at least in the US).

and for boys:
[name]Rhys[/name] - [name]Don[/name]'t like it…looks and sounds incomplete and insubstantial to me.
[name]Gaelan[/name] - It’s sad, but I think there could be teasing potential here, unfortunately.
[name]Sawyer[/name] - Seems pretty trendy to me.
[name]Kieran[/name] - I like it, pronounced [name]KEER[/name]-an. Maybe a bit popular now?
[name]Declan[/name] - Nothing wrong with it, just nms.

[name]Waverley[/name] - love it! I prefer [name]Waverly[/name], though.
[name]Wren[/name] - adore it! It’s a mn on my own list.
[name]Charlotte[/name] nn [name]Lottie[/name] - again, I adore it! [name]Charlotte[/name] is on my own list. If I didn’t love the nn [name]Lola[/name] so much for it, I would probably opt for [name]Lottie[/name]. I really adore both.
[name]Penelope[/name] - I’ve been really liking this lately! It’s not a personal favorite of mine, but I do really like it.
[name]Amelie[/name] nn [name]Ellie[/name] - I love [name]Amelie[/name], it was my best friend’s name, but I am not a huge [name]Ellie[/name] fan. I do love [name]Millie[/name] and [name]Lily[/name] for it, though.
[name]Isla[/name] / [name]Isra[/name] (Eye-ruh) - I like [name]Isla[/name], but I can’t really imagine it on anyone. It seems more like a pretty word than a beautiful name, if that makes sense. It is lovely, though. I don’t really like [name]Isra[/name]; I feel like it should be said like EES-rah or IZ-rah.
[name]Maeve[/name] - meh. I want to like it, but I just can’t see the appeal.
[name]Elizabeth[/name] - love the classic [name]Elizabeth[/name]! I prefer the softer [name]Elisabeth[/name] spelling, though–plus, I love the connection to my [name]German[/name] and French ancestry, since it’s the [name]German[/name]/French spelling. I like that the [name]Elisabeth[/name] spelling is a lot less predictable, too.
[name]Lucy[/name] - meh. I’m not the hugest [name]Lucy[/name] fan. I’ve been appreciating it more lately, but I don’t [name]LOVE[/name] it.
[name]Matilda[/name] - I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Tilly[/name], but I’m not really a [name]Matilda[/name] fan. I can’t really see me using it, and I like [name]Madeleine[/name] much more. It’s still nice, though.
[name]Audrey[/name] nn [name]Ree[/name] - [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Audrey[/name]! I’m positively smitten with it lately. I’m not sure it’s going to make the cut, but I really adore it.
[name]Josephine[/name] nn [name]Josie[/name] - [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Josephine[/name], but I’m not a huge fan of [name]Josie[/name]. I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Posy[/name] as a nn for [name]Josephine[/name], though.
[name]Mila[/name] (mee-luh) - I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Camilla[/name] (cah-MILL-ah) and [name]Camille[/name], but I’m not a huge [name]Mila[/name] fan. I don’t even love [name]Milla[/name], but I like it more than [name]Mila[/name], which has always seemed too exotic/sexy for me.
[name]Adeline[/name] (add-uh-line) - [name]ADORE[/name] it! It’s definitely on my top 20, it just doesn’t make my top 10.
[name]Paloma[/name] - meh. I love the meaning, and the nn [name]Lola[/name], but I don’t love the full name, though.
[name]Elodie[/name] - I named my car [name]Elodie[/name]. I don’t [name]LOVE[/name] it for a future child of mine, but I do like the name, and I love the nns (particularly [name]Ella[/name], [name]Lola[/name], [name]Lottie[/name], and Liddy.
[name]Caroline[/name] - I quite like it. I love the nn [name]Cara[/name], and I love that it reminds me of [name]Jane[/name] [name]Austen[/name], but I hate that it reminds me of [name]Caroline[/name] Bingley. :frowning:
[name]Margaret[/name] nn [name]Maisie[/name] - I quite like [name]Margaret[/name], but I like [name]Maggie[/name] and [name]Greta[/name] much better as nns. [name]Maisie[/name] is cute, though.
[name]Delilah[/name] - the religious implications still bother me, even though most people don’t mind. I do love Elila, though, and I love the nn [name]Lila[/name].
[name]Madeleine[/name] - love [name]Madeleine[/name]! I don’t think I’ll ever love it enough to use it as a FN, but I do find it beautiful as a MN. [name]Zara[/name] [name]Madeleine[/name] was a combo on my long list for years, and I still love it.
[name]Hanna[/name] - [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Hannah[/name], it’s on my top 10, and I like the Japanese [name]Hana[/name], but I don’t love the [name]Hanna[/name] spelling quite so much. It’s always seemed imbalanced to me.
[name]Elowen[/name] - meh. I like [name]Elodie[/name] more.
[name]Mairead[/name] - I’m not a huge Irish/Gaelic names fan, and [name]Mairead[/name] isn’t really my cup of tea. I think it’d be pretty hard to wear, but it is a nice enough name.

and for boys:
[name]Rhys[/name] - love [name]Rhys[/name]! I’m part Welsh, and [name]Rhys[/name] is one of my favorite Welsh names (along with [name]Bryn[/name] and [name]Ianto[/name] for boys).
[name]Gaelan[/name] - I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Caelan[/name], but [name]Gaelan[/name], not quite so much.
[name]Sawyer[/name] - [name]LOVE[/name] the literary [name]Sawyer[/name]. It’s pretty amazing.
[name]Kieran[/name] - I love it, but I only really like the Gaelic spelling–[name]Ciaran[/name].
[name]Declan[/name] - another one I love. I don’t really love Gaelic girls’ names, but I love Gaelic boys’ names! [name]Declan[/name] was on my top 10 for a short while.

My favorites are [name]Wren[/name], [name]Adeline[/name], [name]Charlotte[/name], [name]Audrey[/name], [name]Penelope[/name], [name]Josephine[/name], [name]Elodie[/name], [name]Hannah[/name], and [name]Elisabeth[/name]/[name]Elizabeth[/name] for a girl, and [name]Rhys[/name], [name]Declan[/name], [name]Sawyer[/name], and [name]Ciaran[/name]/[name]Kieran[/name] for boys.

The only name in the girls section I actively dislike it [name]Waverly[/name] - it’s just so trendy / surname-ish, I don’t find it appealing at all. I don’t care for [name]Charlotte[/name], its not one I like, but there’s nothing actually wrong with it, just not one I care for.

I [name]ADORE[/name] [name]Elowen[/name], [name]Elodie[/name], [name]Paloma[/name], [name]Penelope[/name] and [name]Madeleine[/name], though! [name]Paloma[/name] has really, really grown on me this year, the meaning is so pretty.

For the boys, [name]Kieran[/name] (I prefer [name]Ciaran[/name]) has been on my list since I was about 14, I still love it, it’s great.

[name]Waverley[/name]- I just think of “Wizards of [name]Waverly[/name] Place” when I hear this.
[name]Wren[/name]- [name]Love[/name] this.
[name]Charlotte[/name] nn [name]Lottie[/name]- I personally prefer the nn [name]Charlie[/name] and don’t care for [name]Lottie[/name], but I love the full name [name]Charlotte[/name].
[name]Penelope[/name]- I like it, and I think nn [name]Penny[/name] is really cute.
[name]Amelie[/name] nn [name]Ellie[/name]- N,s
[name]Isla[/name] / [name]Isra[/name] (Eye-ruh)- I like [name]Isla[/name], but not [name]Isra[/name].
[name]Maeve[/name]- I prefer just [name]Mae[/name] myself.
[name]Elizabeth[/name]- [name]Love[/name] this, as someone with a name with no nicknames I’ve been jealous of the nn possibilities of [name]Elizabeth[/name].
[name]Lucy[/name]- I don’t care for this.
[name]Matilda[/name]- This is one of my favorite names, I love both the nicknames [name]Mattie[/name] and [name]Tillie[/name].
[name]Audrey[/name] nn [name]Ree[/name]- I don’t like the nickname [name]Ree[/name], as ree-ree is slang in my area for a mentally disabled person. Also, a names aren’t my favorite.
[name]Josephine[/name] nn [name]Josie[/name]- I like the full name and the nn.
[name]Mila[/name] (mee-luh)- I don’t care for the “mee-luh” pronunciation, I’d love this name if its pronunciation was “my-la”
[name]Adeline[/name] (add-uh-line)- See [name]Audrey[/name].
[name]Paloma[/name]- NMS
[name]Elodie[/name]- While I used to really like this name, now it just feels like an incomplete [name]Melody[/name].
[name]Caroline[/name]- Personal association kinda ruins this name for me.
[name]Margaret[/name] nn [name]Maisie[/name]- I don’t like [name]Margaret[/name], but I love [name]Maisie[/name].
[name]Delilah[/name]- I like this name.
[name]Madeleine[/name]- I would probably use this if it wasn’t so popular. I also don’t like the nickname [name]Maddy[/name].
[name]Hanna[/name]- I would definitely add an h at the end. [name]Hannah[/name] is a really sweet but strong name to my ears, so I like it.
[name]Elowen[/name]- I really like this name.
[name]Mairead[/name]- I don’t like the sound of this.

and for boys:
[name]Rhys[/name]- NMS
[name]Gaelan[/name]- While I like the overall sound, I would avoid names with the syllable “gay”, as I feel a boy with this name would be teased from elementary to high school.
[name]Sawyer[/name]- I like it
[name]Kieran[/name]- While [name]Kiera[/name] sounds soft and pretty to me, [name]Kieran[/name] just sounds wrong.
[name]Declan[/name]- I like it, I knew a really sweet guy with this name.

Very nice list!
My favorite on your list is [name]Waverley[/name]- [name]LOVE[/name] [name]LOVE[/name] [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Waverly[/name]!
I also love [name]Wren[/name], [name]Isla[/name], [name]Lucy[/name], and [name]Elowen[/name]
From boys, I like [name]Rhys[/name] ,[name]Sawyer[/name], [name]Kieran[/name] the most.
