[name_m]Hi[/name_m]!
[name_m]Just[/name_m] looking through my name list and I was wondering what you folks thought of my top favourite girl names? Are there any that you think don’t belong on this list, just fall far short of being awesome girl names? Which are your favourites and why?? Any names in particular that you think would be amazing with a sibset of [name_f]Elena[/name_f], [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] & [name_m]Archer[/name_m]?
Thank you!!!
I love [name_f]Mirabel[/name_f], [name_f]Brielle[/name_f], and [name_u]Waverly[/name_u]. I also love [name_f]Annalise[/name_f], [name_f]Adeline[/name_f], and [name_f]Eliza[/name_f], but prefer when each sibling has their own initials.
While I adore all of the names on your list! I get such a girly vibe from both [name_f]Elena[/name_f] and [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] that I feel some of the more feminine options would match the sibset better. (I think they all work with [name_m]Archer[/name_m], honestly. He’s pretty versatile) In particular, [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f], [name_f]Mirabel[/name_f], [name_f]Annalise[/name_f], [name_f]Adeline[/name_f], [name_f]Celeste[/name_f], and [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] would complete the sibset rather spectacularly. I would personally avoid [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] and and [name_f]Brielle[/name_f], because of their slight resemblance to [name_f]Elena[/name_f]. Good luck! Your sibset is one of the nicest I’ve seen, so I look forward to hearing what you decide for the new addition.
What a lovely compliment, thank you!!! These are all the girl names that I personally love, and as many of them have gotten vetoed from my hubby I was just curious what other nameberries thought of the ones that had previously been vetoed from me ever bringing them up, if that makes sense lol.
[name_f]Aurelia[/name_f] - a gorgeous name. Has a stately, [name_m]Roman[/name_m] feel. [name_f]Mirabel[/name_f] - my favorite of your list. I adore this name, particularly with siblings.
[name_f]Amara[/name_f] - always disliked it. the a/“uh” sound feels superfluous, and “mar” means bitter in my native language.
[name_f]Indira[/name_f] - I like the sound of [name_f]India[/name_f] better, but [name_f]Indira[/name_f] has considerably less baggage. [name_f]Indie[/name_f] is a cute nickname. Doesn’t flow with sibset, though.
[name_f]Augusta[/name_f] - works nicely with sibset, but not my favorite name.
[name_f]Annalise[/name_f] - meh.
[name_f]Willa[/name_f] - [name_f]Willow[/name_f] would work better with siblings.
[name_f]Amedea[/name_f] - I adore [name_m]Amedeo[/name_m] for a boy, but I’ve never warmed up to the female version. Sticks out with siblings, too.
[name_f]Adeline[/name_f] - meh. Works nice with siblings, but kind of boring.
[name_f]Brielle[/name_f] - a chopped-off version of [name_f]Gabrielle[/name_f].
[name_u]Waverly[/name_u] - dislike.
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f] - I prefer [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f].
[name_u]Juniper[/name_u] - cute.
[name_f]Celeste[/name_f] - okay, but a bit dated.
[name_f]Rhiannon[/name_f] - dislike.
[name_f]Summer[/name_f] - bland.
[name_f]Roxanne[/name_f] - dislike.
[name_f]Georgia[/name_f] - not a fan, but works with sibset.
[name_f]Mirabel[/name_f]: [name_f]Mira[/name_f] is such a fresh and lovely nickname.
[name_f]Willa[/name_f]: If the similar ending with [name_f]Elena[/name_f] (Would [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] feel out?) doesn’t bother you.
[name_u]Juniper[/name_u]: [name_f]My[/name_f] favorite. Fresh, sweet and happy, goes great with siblings’ names.
[name_f]Georgia[/name_f]: Would be my favorite if not, again, the similar ending. If it doesn’t bother you, I think it’s the best option.
I’d avoid names that start with A, because you already have [name_m]Archer[/name_m]; [name_f]Indira[/name_f], because it feels very different in style and [name_f]Brielle[/name_f], because it feels very trendy and even invented (although I know it’s not).
I would not say I strongly dislike any of them. I dislike [name_f]Indira[/name_f] and [name_f]Amedea[/name_f] but I would not have a negative reaction to meeting one.
I think [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] and [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] would complete the sibset best. [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] especially to tie in the spunky [name_m]Archer[/name_m]. I think you’ve chosen the right one! [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] and [name_f]Mirabel[/name_f] are also good choices.
You have quite a number of names with el in them, but so do both [name_f]Elena[/name_f] and [name_f]Felicity[/name_f], so I think that’s fine. [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] is too close to [name_f]Elena[/name_f] though, in my opinion.
[name_f]Aurelia[/name_f] is too frilly next to [name_f]Elena[/name_f]. [name_f]Amara[/name_f], [name_f]Indira[/name_f], and [name_f]Amedea[/name_f] feel a but other worldy next to sib names.
I love [name_f]Willa[/name_f], [name_f]Summer[/name_f], [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] and [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] from your list. Although [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] and [name_f]Elena[/name_f] might be a bit matchy.
