What do you think of Ramona?

What kind of person do you think of when you hear the name?

Does it go well with other names that I love like [name]Julian[/name], [name]Edmund[/name], [name]Vincent[/name], [name]Beatrix[/name], [name]Eloise[/name], [name]Willa[/name], etc?

Thanks a lot.

I really like [name]Ramona[/name] and it goes well with your names!

I have a hard time associating much with it beyond the [name]Beverly[/name] [name]Cleary[/name] character. But she was a cute and spunky girl, so that’s not bad. I guess I think about the Ramones, too, so there’s this subtle edge.

I love [name]Ramona[/name] and I also agree it goes well with your names except maybe [name]Willa[/name]. [name]Willa[/name] reminds me of [name]Willow[/name] which has a more hippie vibe than the rest of the names.

When I think of [name]Ramona[/name] I think of [name]Maggie[/name] Gyllenhaal because that is her daughter’s name.

[name]Ramona[/name] is so solid is spunky, one of my favorites. I have also been liking Ramola & Ramolda lately.
[name]Ramona[/name] fits right in to your other favorites i think, but, like Lisaan i think [name]Willa[/name] doesnt. Too moderish feel against your vintage.

[name]Ramona[/name] is one of my favorites, and I think it goes wonderfully with your other names. I really love the combination [name]Ramona[/name] [name]Willa[/name], actually.

Sorry but this is one of the names that I cannot take seriously. I cannot even picture it on a real child. I go straight to the [name]Beverly[/name] [name]Cleary[/name] children’s book character. That might be cute while she is little but probably not so much when she is older.

I’ve always been 50/50 on this name. Its not one I would choose on my own, but if hubby liked it then I would consider it. As long as I got to pick a cute MN. Lately I’ve been liking it a bit more.

And yes, [name]Maggie[/name] Gyllenhaal has an adorable daughter named that. She seems very spunky and full of life.

I [name]LOVE[/name] this name. I think it is strong and girly at the same time and a little vintage/unique but also totally familiar. It’s easy to pronounce and has just one spelling which is good. I like [name]Mona[/name] or [name]Romy[/name] or [name]Roma[/name] or [name]Ro[/name] as nicknames. Other names it kind of reminds me of are [name]Rosemary[/name] or [name]Simone[/name]. The only problem I see with how it matches up with your other names is that [name]Ramona[/name] + [name]Beatrix[/name] makes me think of the sisters [name]Ramona[/name] and [name]Beatrice[/name] in the [name]Beverly[/name] [name]Cleary[/name] books…but if I had to vote for either [name]Ramona[/name] or [name]Beatrix[/name] I would say [name]Ramona[/name] is much much better! I picture a charming girl who is feminine but not afraid to play in the mud either. It’s spunky and sweet.

I think its agreat, spunky name for a girl, with several nn options, if you choose to go that route.

The only thing I think of is [name]Ramona[/name] [name]Quimby[/name] from the child books. I like the name and maybe your child will be able to evade that character since the books are kind of old now, I don’t know if kids still read them really. Its a good name though, it makes me think of a kind, energetic, spunky girl.

It certainly does goes with your other names. I am not a fan of the [name]Mona[/name] part of the name though, so the name has never been on my list. As a child, I did love [name]Ramona[/name] books though! So, I do think spunky girl when I hear it.

I love [name]Ramona[/name]! It’s in my top 20. I think it’s adorable on someone any age and has a lot of spunk. It also has the possible Nn [name]Mona[/name] for when she needs something more professional
