I know a boy named [name]Kit[/name] - just [name]Kit[/name], not [name]Christopher[/name] or [name]Christian[/name] and it works really well. He isn’t bullied for having a ‘girl’ name as a lot of people tell me [name]Kit[/name] is. Thoughts? Middle name suggestions are helpful!
[name]Kit[/name] [name]Theodore[/name]
[name]Kit[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name]
[name]Kit[/name] [name]Edward[/name]
Surprisingly, I feel like it’s not enough name. Which is weird, because I usually love nicknames as full names. lol There’s nothing particularly girly about it, imo. If I had to choose, I’d pick [name]Kit[/name] [name]Edward[/name].
I like the name [name]Kit[/name], it’s sweet. I prefer it as a nickname for something though - I’m not keen on it as a stand alone name but thats my opinion. I do know a little boy called [name]Kit[/name] whose full name is [name]Atticus[/name], I thought that was a cute NN for [name]Atticus[/name]!
I like the combo [name]Kit[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name] the best from your list!
I like the name [name]Kit[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name] from the list however you need to be careful that he doesnt get called [name]Kitty[/name] by acident by family memebers as when he is older he may find it annoying
The only [name]Kit[/name] I know is a girlfriend from college whose full name is [name]Katherine[/name]. “[name]Kit[/name]-kat”, “whole kit and kaboodle” come to mind as puns, but they are pretty cute and harmless. I do agree that [name]Kit[/name] as a NN from a “fuller” first name would be preferred.
The [name]Kit[/name] I knew was short for [name]Christopher[/name] but he was [name]Kit[/name] in everything at school and at home so it was basically his whole name, lol. I like it.
I think [name]Kit[/name] is pretty cool. Hopefully your last name is more than one syllable though.
I like it … as a nickname.
It’s lovely as a nickname for [name]Christopher[/name].
To me it doesn’t sound like a full name. It also sounds like a nickname for a girl.
[name]Just[/name] to be awkward… I only like it as a full, given name, not as a nn!
Sounds good with any of the traditional, masculine names with 2 or 3 syllables which you suggested as middles (I like [name]Edward[/name] for some reason). Other possibles: [name]Oliver[/name], [name]Arthur[/name]…
Stylish!
I like [name]Kit[/name], and I could see it working as a full name, though personally I prefer it as a nn
I’m not sure about that one. It sounds cute for a little boy OR a little girl, but I’m having trouble picturing an adult man named [name]Kit[/name]. It’s a bit too precious for me.
I love [name]Kit[/name], but as a nn, and for a girl. [name]Catherine[/name] nn [name]Kit[/name] is on my own list, so I find it hard to see [name]Kit[/name] on a boy (I do have a certain affinity to [name]Atticus[/name] nn [name]Kit[/name], though!). No matter the gender, though, I can’t really picture [name]Kit[/name] as a full name, but if it was, I think the sort of MN you have paired with it (long, classic, but not boring-classic!) works really well. If he doesn’t like [name]Kit[/name], he could be [name]Ben[/name], [name]Benji[/name], [name]Jamie[/name], [name]Benjamin[/name], etc. Same with [name]Theodore[/name] ([name]Teddy[/name], [name]Theo[/name], [name]Eddy[/name]) and [name]Edward[/name] ([name]Ted/name, [name]Ned[/name], [name]Ward[/name], [name]Eddie[/name]), etc.
I really love [name]Kit[/name] for a boy or girl. I would love to use it for a nn, but I don’t really like any of possible long forms for it. I think it is fine on its own, but I can’t convince my hubby. I like [name]Kit[/name] [name]Edward[/name] best, but they are all nice.
I like it, but I prefer it as a nickname for a “fuller” name. [name]Kip[/name] is pretty cute too.
I think it’s fine. I like it better as a given name, than as a nickname actually. [name]Kit[/name] [name]Edward[/name] is nice, but I also like [name]Kit[/name] [name]William[/name] and [name]Kit[/name] [name]Richard[/name].
