What do you think of this boy name?

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] nameberries!
Looking for opinions about our recently chosen boy name for our first baby who is expected in 9 weeks. We do not know gender yet.
The name we like is [name_m]Rupert[/name_m] (nickname for little boy could be Roo, which we adore). Our last name starts with W and is 2 syllables.
As a middle name, we do not have any family names we’d like to use. Looking for something possibly either 1 or 3 syllables.
Our favorite at the moment is [name_m]Rupert[/name_m] [name_m]Barnaby[/name_m].
What are your initial reactions/ thoughts? We realize there is a bear association which doesn’t bother us as we are in [name_f]Canada[/name_f] and it’s not front of mind here at least with our generation. Many thanks in advance!

I think it’s great! [name_m]Rupert[/name_m] [name_m]Barnaby[/name_m] nn Roo is absolutely adorable in a “cute little guy who’ll grow up to be a smart, charming fella” kind of way
I love the sound of the combo, and nothing is coming up to mind that sounds better than that!
In any case, first ideas that popped up were: [name_m]Rupert[/name_m] [name_m]John[/name_m], [name_m]Rupert[/name_m] [name_m]Isaiah[/name_m], [name_m]Rupert[/name_m] [name_u]Emery[/name_u]/[name_u]Amory[/name_u]

GL!

[name_m]Rupert[/name_m] [name_m]Barnaby[/name_m] “Roo” is wonderful! Go for it.

That’s a fine name, [name_m]Rupert[/name_m] is known but not very common, Roo is a sweet nickname.

[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_m]Rupert[/name_m] and [name_m]Rupert[/name_m] [name_m]Barnaby[/name_m] is great!!

[name_m]Rupert[/name_m] [name_u]Max[/name_u], [name_m]Rupert[/name_m] [name_m]Jack[/name_m] and [name_m]Rupert[/name_m] [name_m]Malachi[/name_m] came to mind

[name_m]Rupert[/name_m] [name_m]Barnaby[/name_m] is wonderful! I love it!

[name_m]Rupert[/name_m] [name_m]Barnaby[/name_m] what a fantastic name!! I love it!

[name_m]Rupert[/name_m] is lovely and the nickname Roo is beautiful, another suggestion with the same nickname would be [name_m]Rufus[/name_m]!

[name_m]Rupert[/name_m] [name_m]Barnaby[/name_m] feels a bit stuffy and almost comically English to my American ears. There is something fun and playful about it, though.

I adore [name_m]Rupert[/name_m] nn Roo! [name_m]Rupert[/name_m] [name_m]Barnaby[/name_m] flows really well and [name_m]Barnaby[/name_m] is a cool underused name in my opinion.
