I haven’t (yet) read [name_u]Les[/name_u] Miserables… dealbreaker or not?
I think it’s a beautiful name. I don’t think it’s a deal breaker. [name_f]Eponine[/name_f] sounded vaguely familiar but it took a moment to place it. Plus [name_f]Eponine[/name_f] is a great character, so for those who make the connection, it’s not a bad one!
I love [name_f]Helena[/name_f]. I don’t think most people will pay enough attention to the middle name to make the connection.
Epinone makes me think of a medication maybe like Epi pen or something. Though its different and has a romantic ring to it.
It’s a beautiful combo! I don’t think you not having read [name_u]Les[/name_u] Mis yet is a dealbreaker (although you should, it’s wonderful!) or the fact that it is so tied to [name_u]Les[/name_u] Mis.
Thank you all.
I find [name_f]Helena[/name_f] outdated and [name_f]Eponine[/name_f] sounds like a guilty pleasure to me. However as a combo, I think it goes really nicely.
I don’t know [name_u]Les[/name_u] Miserables so I don’t know the association but if you like it its never a dealbreaker
I’m not sure how you would pronounce [name_f]Helena[/name_f] (Hel-AY-nah or Hel-ee-nah) but I think that would change whether [name_f]Eponine[/name_f] would work. From [name_u]Les[/name_u] Mis, I find [name_f]Cosette[/name_f] to be more wearable than [name_f]Eponine[/name_f]. And [name_f]Helena[/name_f] [name_f]Cosette[/name_f] works with either pronunciation.
