I like both! Actually, [name]Lydia[/name] [name]Jane[/name] sounds gorgeous.
[name]Jane[/name] may be my favorite by a hair, I think it’s so refreshing to hear it on a young person, very classic and pretty. Of course you have [name]Jane[/name] Eyre, and I also think of the character [name]Jane[/name] from the TV show [name]Happy[/name] Endings. There was also a [name]Jane[/name] on Americas Next Top Model (one of my favorites so its stuck in my head, she came across as very quiet and kind)
[name]Lydia[/name] I have heard more frequently on children lately, I know two little Lydias, both preschool aged and both wear it very well. It’s a little more rural and wholesome sounding to me, maybe because I also think of the childrens book Henners [name]Lydia[/name] about an Amish girl.
Anyhow, thats what comes to mind and I dont think you can go wrong with either name!
I adore [name]Jane[/name]. She is sweet and endearing, but strong and has a spunky side that often surprises people.
[name]Lydia[/name] sounds very soft to me, even quite shy. She is pretty but not really aware of it.
I like both names. [name]Lydia[/name] more so than [name]Jane[/name].
[name]Lydia[/name] always reminded me of [name]Wynona[/name] [name]Ryder[/name]'s character in Beetlejuice. [name]Love[/name] that movie.
[name]Jane[/name] is nice and refreshing to hear, but still seems kind of plain to me. I think it would take a really pretty girl to pull off [name]Jane[/name] and to break free of the Plain [name]Jane[/name] image.
If she looks anything like my son, she’ll have fair skin, dark hair and blue eyes. Pretty much everyone in my family fits that description although my husband’s eyes are green. I think she’ll be pretty… but I guess all mommys think their babies are beautiful! I’m sort of leading toward [name]Jane[/name] but I really like the nn Lydi.
I love both. I think maybe I like [name]Jane[/name] more (I adore [name]Jane[/name] Eyre and [name]Jane[/name] [name]Austen[/name] so that helps), and it would be refreshing to meet a little [name]Jane[/name]. If she’ll be dark, I think I like it even more. I’ve never meet/seen a [name]Jane[/name] who wasn’t blonde. But [name]Lydia[/name] is gorgeous too.
